Lots of love on the NFL network and ESPN for the Panthers right now. Apparently they have been playing lights out on defense for the past month and their offensive line is starting to gel at the right time. Jonathon Stewart is unstoppable and Cam is throwing his body around like hes back at Auburn.

if good cam comes to play its going to be a great game. with that being said, its in the dome and matt+julio should be able to outscore this mediocre panthers offense. both defenses are terrible but have played well recently so ill take the more explosive offense.

Thats kind of my take. Just dont see two rookies in the secondary slowing down Julio. Freeman is the next Gio-Bernard that nobody is talking about. 39 yard catch last week and 31 yard explosive TD. Fresh legs too. They should ride this train until teams adjust.

Pavy the Falcons would have to travel to Seattle, not Arizona

Only if seeds hold true to form. Wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit beat Dallas which would automatically send the Lions to Seattle.

    I did not say that

Hell I even cashed 2k on the Cards 2h line in the Rams game.

I said the Seahawks would crush them and comeback to win the NFC West, and they did twice. In any case, Arizona can't even manage to score an offensive TD, they are hot garbage.

You dismissed the idea that the Seahawks could come from 2 games back and win the division. Then you laughed at the idea of the Seahawks winning out. So yeah... You were way off on this one

Im wondering what the line would be. Both would be double digits.

Cards +15 (We just saw what happened in Arizona and the Cards cant score)
Falcons +13 (Falcons could cover this)

Im not sleeping on the Rams this week. Wouldn't be surprised if Jeff Fisher gave the Hawks complete hell and the old penetrate You sending them on the road in the Wild Card round. If the Seahawks come at this game half ass...they are getting beat.

Arizona would not be a bigger dog than Atlanta. Arizona will be favored AT Atlanta in the wild card round, assuming matchup happens.

    I approximate:

    Arizona -3.5 over Atlanta
    Seattle -13.5 over Arizona
    Seattle -14.5 over Atlanta

If Lindel starts for Arizona he will not be favored on the road vs Matt Ryan. I can guarantee you this. The books don't like to give money away for free.

Arizona was a 1 point favorite with Staunton and Ellington and no book will have Cardinals -3.5 on the road with a QB that hasn't won a game in NFL.

Regular season lines mean nothing, playoff lines are set differently with more shading for anticipated public money.

You did start a thread about Saints being in the NFC Championship game

And you did start a thread about the Cowboys not making the playoffs

And you did start a thread about the Seahawks being a "spent force" and not making the playoffs

And you said the Seahawks "would not sniff 10 wins"

And you bet on the Arizona Cardinals with Ryan Lindley vs the Seahawks in a 35-6 rape sesh

He also said the Saints will not lose to the Falcons in the NFC Saints championship thread. All documented.

at first glance i thought Falcons were going to win easy...

the more i look at it though Panthers seem to be getting healthy and clicking on all cylinders

First time all season the Panthers will have the 3 headed monster

    Mike "Bowling Ball" Tolbert

    J-Stew

    J-Will

not to mention the threat of Killa Cam running

The Panthers defense has allowed just 13.3 points per game the last three games, two touchdowns better on average from the first 12 games of the season.

Carolina’s pass defense in particular has excelled. They’ve held each of the opposing quarterbacks the last three weeks—Drew Brees, Josh McCown and the combination of Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer, to Total QBRs of 34 or below and a combined Total QBR of 25.1.

To me this isnt that impressive minus the job they did on Brees but that doesnt hold any water because Atlanta did the same thing last week. At the same time Atlanta's D appears to be playing much better. Could the Under be the play? Smith and Rivera are pretty conservative coaches.
