Apparently they have been playing lights out on defense for the past month and their offensive line is starting to gel at the right time. Thats kind of my take. Just dont see two rookies in the secondary slowing down Julio. Freeman is the next Gio-Bernard that nobody is talking about. 39 yard catch last week and 31 yard explosive TD. Fresh legs too. They should ride this train until teams adjust.

They beat Cardinals and barely lost to Packers and Lions. If the Falcons get points on home playoff game the ML is going to be really good. Then they will be travelling to Cardinals for the next game, a team they already destroyed and in the NFC championship game anything can happen. A Falcons - Patriots Superbowl is not that far fetched as you may think.

To me this isnt that impressive minus the job they did on Brees but that doesnt hold any water because Atlanta did the same thing last week. At the same time Atlanta's D appears to be playing much better. Could the Under be the play? Smith and Rivera are pretty conservative coaches.
