Don't trust Matheny with his late inning decisions.

Cards were done when the Giants beat the Nats. Every other year the Giants spank the cards in the playoffs and win the WS. Losing Molina hurts but the cards are better in odd years.

With your knowledge of the cards, do you think Shelby Miller has what it takes to tie the series tonight?

I see both starters as lucky meatballers

i like the Giants to score at least 4 runs. Giants pitcher is a beast in playoffs. Don't like our chances.

If you're on Cards now is the time to fade. Choke job Choate is going to give this game away guaranteed. He is the the Phil Coke of the Cardinals bullpen. He only comes in when they need to throw away a game. You heard it here first.

SF have Petit in, Cards have put in choke job Choate. Complete mismatch. Expecting SF to take the lead or tie up before the Cards coach decides he's seen enough. Choate's whole purpose is to be Mr. penetrate up. If Cards wanted to win this game they'd have Wacha coming in not Choke.

Don't know how Matheny is going to stretch this bullpen for 5 more. Wacha not an option.

I guess Matheny can wait to use Wacha next year. Why bother having him on the roster ? For an emergency start or relief appearance ? He is way out of his league.

Same. With that said, I'm sure a lot of people have felt that way about my Cardinals.

The Giants seem to be the only team that can trumph the Cards magic with their own.

The Giants did come back down 3-1 to the Carda a few years ago. Maybe St. Louis can repay the favor.

Well the only thing I can say that has been consistent is the bullpen.

Well for one thing they haven't lost this game yet. Even if they do they certainly can come back from 3-1. Bumgarner is good but he is definitely beatable. The Cardinals beat Bumgarner and head home? They got a real shot.

Even the bullpen, though -- I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with Affeldt, Romo, etc. Never does.

To be honest, this whole series drives me nuts. Two overachieving, horseshoe-stuck-up-their-ass franchises just trying to out-luck each other.
