This is what I did, and I am a square for sure. I just can't shake the memories of Volquez, when he was here in Cincy.

that's fine but you have to realise that recent form is obviously more important than past performance.

if you faded aaron harang and alfredo simon who sucked ass for most of their careers in the first half you got absolutely destroyed, for example

San Fran more experience but Pittsburgh is one of the best home teams in baseball so hard not to go with them here.

    a) what are you basing this theory off of?
    b) it should be sunny and over 70 degrees today in Pittsburgh since it isn't exactly football weather

I completely understand, and agree 100%. I am saying don't do what I did. Fade material, for sure.

Im basing it off I've personally watched him pitch----yes in person LOL----the minute he is blowing into his hand to heat it up GAME SET MATCH lol....Its an overcast 60-63 right now...to him that is COLD.....just saying...if he was out west, I would be more worried about him pitching...personally i think he gives up 2-3 here and Giants win 5-3 ish...

yeah but how many times have you seen him in pitch in the cold? can't be a large sample size, and how recent?

here is some recent games that forecast as colder than tonight's matchup, he fared well.

post season and regular season pressure is a lot different. Bum has faced it numerous of times and has comes up on top before, today shouldn't be any different.

I mean I dont have #'s to backup what I see....I just see him KILLING it in the hot weather, then looks slightly worse in the cold....This goes back to the REDS days...just watching him...recently he has overall been killing it......nerves, cold, leaning SF for me...even if he gets killed i wont chalk it entirely to the weather....just saying .....he IS worse off in colder weather....he will admit that much...
