    Was that the Orioles farewell gift to the Captain?

    Was an 88 mph fastball right down Broadway.....reminded me of what Wainwright said and did in the All-Star game.

    Buck Showwalter said on WFAN yesterday how the. Orioles had no idea what they were going to get Derek Jeter as his farewell gift.....looks like we saw it tonight.

    Gonna miss Jeets....one of the greatest Yankees of all time.

    any chance he comes back for 1 more year?

    Kind of a dissapointing way to go out... terrible season for the Yankees.

    An 83-84 win season isn't terrible. Amazingly in Jeters 19 year career he has never played a season where the Yankees finished under .500

    yeah i bet he has a bad taste in his mouth.

    let Sabbathia and Tanaka get healthy along with young phenoms Pineda and Greene and see what they can do next year...

    maybe he could just play DH since his defense is sub par
