So how bad is the Big Ten??

Just a pathetic effort all around today......

-Ohio State loses at home to unranked VT

-Michigan St loses by 3 scores to Oregon

-Michigan SHUT OUT by Notre Dame

-Nebraska over McNeese St on a last second prayer

-Iowa over Ball St on a last minute TD

-Northwestern loses at home to Northern Illinois

-Purdue blown out at home by Central Michigan

-Not one impressive win by the rest of these jokers

    Bravo

Yeah, you clearly overlooked the Fighting Illini, flying the banner high for the Big Ten this year.

Losses already to the SEC, ACC and Pac 12 and MAC

Think its fair to say there will be no representative team in the playoffs this season.

Yeah, can't see any scenario where they get a team there

Hopefully we won't have to hear all the Big Ten babies crying when the SEC or Pac 12 get a second team over their champion into the playoffs.....But we will

Make or break.....Think we will play well though. ECU and Texas A&M with their spread/hurry up exposed our young secondary

Georgia obviously a traditional offense and I think SC will be able to score on UGA.....Gurley is a beast though

SC has beaten UGA 3 of the last 4 games so let's see if Spurrier can outcoach Richt again....he's going to have to

Ive said all along that Michigan State is the only national contender, and I'm an Ohio State fan. Buckeyes O-line is putrid, and a freshamn QB who looks lost. MSU outplayed Oregon for much of the game and just made some deadly turnovers... final score not indicitive of how the game went. MSU is still a top 10 team and I expect them to run the table and make the final 4...

They should be kicked out of the big five conferences. They do not belong.

thought Mich state was good, but their D faded so quickly, i agree no way they get a team in now ACC, Pac-12 and SEC all get 1 question will be who gets the fourth.

Don't be surprised to see the PAC-12 shut out. Oregon can easily lose to 4-5 teams left on the schedule... UCLA the same. PAC is tough but they are gonna beat up on each other. Michigan State will win the Big Ten easily and make the playoff. Florida State the ACC, and whoever comes out of the SEC (My pick is LSU)... that's 3. Only way Michigan State does not make it is if Oregon or UCLA (PAC champ), AND Oklahoma or Baylor (Big12 champ) run the table... with how bad the Buckeyes are right now, Michigan State has one of the easier roads to the playoffs. They aren't losing the rest of the year

Stanford is the only team that has a shot of beating Oregon...USC and or Oregon will only have 1 loss and will easily go in ahead of a 1 loss big ten team, the committee is going to look at how bad that conference is and they won't put any1 one in.

After watching several little 10 games today, I can honestly say the whole conference is bad this year from top to bottom. Ohio St. made VT look like a top 3 team today. My gosh!

Even Herbstreit took to Twitter to let them know the deal saying If Big Ten fans want to know why everyone else looks down on them, weekends like this -no spin, no agenda, just results.

Big 10's glory days are over. Population has shifted south and west and not enough elite prospects want to move to the midwest to play football. College Football is a southern sport now. 2nd most northern team to win a title since the BCS era is Tennessee.

Big 12 or SEC absolutely gets two teams in the playoffs, just a matter of which one gets surprised later in the season to eliminate that conference - OU will lose 1 game and needs to beat Baylor, and one team from the SEC West will most likely be beaten by one of the Mississippi's on the road this season so will be left out after the other goes to face Georgia in Atlanta. But Big 10....done for.
