U obviously didnt see how low the ratings were for rangers v kings. Outside of la and ny know one gave a shit. Gm 5 in la on a fri night had only 7 million households tuned in.

Nba finals crushed that number in each gm

    fact.

Pretty sure NBC happy as second best for Cup ratings in 8 years and playoffs overall had most viewers since ESPN had NHL

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, thanks for the laugh. The NHL will NEVER be more popular than the NBA. At least not in this country.

Only because they were lucky to have two gigantic markets like NY and LA. Except for a few cities, no one cares about hockey.

uh MAYBE if we're gambling. I'll take three rings over one any day. This ain't Jim Kelly or Elgin Baylor we're talking about who went oh-fer.

Exactly those ratings were very deceiving

No networks even bid for hockey
They had a good year though because some big market teams were right there

NBC Sports Network...the former Versus...it's all there's because hockey is just not an appealing TV product during the regular season

I watched more hockey playoffs this year than the last 10

I might carry this into next year and be a little more of a fan

I would hate to be Pat Riley right now. Guy hasn't had a good nights rest since the playoffs ended. Major uncertainty in Miami. Team might crumble like the LA Lakers did.

There won't be anymore sellouts in Miami. City will be like... "What the hell happened to my team?" Like Night and Day.

D-Wade sucks. Heat should cut him.

I disagree. At the end of the day basketball is just a game and Pat Riley is rich living in Miami.

Dont compare the Heat to the Lakers. The Lakers paid Kobe Bryant a lot of money this season to do absolutely nothing.
