    About 15yrs. ago, I hit the twin trifecta carryover at Trinity Meadows for $50K, I believe on a $32 ticket. IRS took a big chunk at the track, then it bumped me into higher tax bracket and had to pay ever more tax.

    It made the local newspaper and makes for a great story, plus I partied my a$$ off for a couple of days!

    Awesome. Let me just say that I bet way way more than $32. Pot was 56K on mine and the other tik went to someone playing a phone number. Fk!!!

    Worst thing that ever happened to me...bet a 2$ long shot at Santa Anita at 50-1 and hit. Then bet a 5$ long shot at 60-1 and hit. I've hit bigger money plays but none so gratifying.

    Go to the horse track on New Year's Eve. Most tracks have to make a payout on their carryovers before the year rolls over.

    Even if there is not a winning ticket, they have to pay off on the closest ones.
