they know how to run a book, ill give them that. Their pretty much printing money with their bussiness model. Quick to limit players, 30-40 cent live lines on most sports and a ton of live betting options for degenerates.

Their streaming and live betting of events for everything from ping pong and darts to my kid playing horseshoes is reason enough to have an account there. Great dog prices, great CS if you're not a scammer and once in awhile they run a free bet or deposit promo. I was singing the praises of this book well before they became an SBR sponsor and I always will. As long as you play smart there, you'll avoid the limiting stuff. I've been stung on one type of bet (totally innocently) back when I didn't know better but to their credit they didn't reduce all tennis bets completely. If I have Pinny, betfair, 365 and 5dimes I'm happy.

The limit thing is not as harsh as other UK and Euro books

Some guys play a long time there winning and some dont

    Limits are decent also

You cannot even use the limit argument anymore because that basically refers to 95% of books other than a few big exchanges, pinny, sbobet, bookmaker to a degree.

It really doesn't matter to me just how many markets and what odds they offer.

If a book isn't prepared to take a bet they can't be classed as A, let alone the best.

This crap outfit opened up in Australia and after just 3 days banned me from their best racing products and after another 3 days closed my account. I'd won just $140. Yet I have to put up with their deceitful advertising on my TV screen every day.

The fact that most UK, Euro and now Australian books do similar things (Ladbrokes closed my account before I'd even had a chance to place a bet!) doesn't excuse them!

For any serious sports bettors there is only Pinnacle, SBO, Betfair and Matchbook.

Who's a clown? I've been lucky enough to have some big withdrawals from there too but I posted about being limited there before I was even working here so that'd be maybe June 2010. I had put in 5 or 6 bets on tennis handicaps for I think $200 each one night and every line moved significantly in my favour. Which would be great for any sport other than tennis so of course I lost 3 or 4 of them so it's not like I even made a big score. But they still cut me down to like $26 a bet on handicaps and when I asked about it on here, everyone popped in to explain that would've set off alarm bells to them. So if you haven't been limited good on you but I can bring up thousands of posts and even chat sessions confirming differently.

5 years ago I placed I think 3 bets and was cut to $5. I think I bet 3 dogs. This was not uncommon. If they were a Costa book maybe they could have known who I was, but its doubtful that was it. Its not just me, many vets know your stay there will be short if u seem to have a clue. maybe if had been betting obscure stuff I would have ben able to hang on!! lolol

Your name is also the first one I saw when I visited a site charging $2k plus for tennis picks alone, never mind other sports. Maybe the books have cottoned on to it the same as they have RAS bettors? Not sure but Willy Hill booted me after two bets and I didn't even win there so I'm inclined to believe that they all share more info and trawl forums and tout sites than even the most cynical ones of us could imagine.

I generally much prefer the Pinnacle/Betfair/Matchbook rule of game on if 1st set completed.
But if backing a player with some fitness concerns the void rule can be useful.

I won't play at any book which takes US customers. Additional risk not worth it imho. I don't have limit problems with the books I mentioned.

Great book for smaller players. Always great CS. Can't say greatest book of all time. Almost always in my top 3 in the SBR Sportsbook poll.

Still limited but only for handicaps. All other tennis bets are fine. I posted the chat here back in the day because exactly what they were limiting for is the thing I hate in tennis (lines moving in favour). I was pissed at the time but now I appreciate that they didn't completely wipe me out and the fact they're so trustworthy with cash means I have to trust their risk mgmt dept even on the odd times they get it wrong. I'd rather they spend cash paying people than worrying about people taking shots, tout subscribers, etc.

Some (actually most) modern books just don't welcome players they think might beat them over time.
They aren't actually "bookmakers" and shouldn't be rated as such.

I get a thing that shows my max bet. If you try to bet more than that it tells you to reduce bet. Have tried to circumvent it by calling it in but no dice. No biggie... I received my Aussie Open winnings into my bank account less than 36 hours after putting in the request so if they don't want my bets on handis, that's cool. Could be worse.

If you've bought plays from a known service - and worse, from an Aussie service - you'll get limited and/or banned. Why are you upset about this? You're acting like this is new news... again see anyone who buys RAS.

Of course it's not new news.
What does piss me off however is people saying such a "bookmaker" is A+ or even the "best of all time".
That is just utter nonsense. A place which won't take bets isn't a bookmaker.
As to "buying plays from a known service" : My only action with Bet365 AU was a few racing selections which most certainly weren't bought from any known service.
These guys don't care where the tips are coming from. All they see is a group of players hitting the same bets and forcing the odds in. Often they simply refer to them incorrectly as arbers. Bottom line is that if you regularly beat the closing lines/odds you get flagged. Pinnacle on the other hand welcomes them with open arms.

You said it yourself: "a group of players hitting the same bets and forcing the odds in." Where are those bets coming from for that group? Random people just picked them out of their arses at the same time? Come on now. In an ideal world every book would have the risk mgmt of say Pinny... but they offer maybe 1/50th of the live betting options, zero streaming and perks that 365 does. And again, the dog price on 365 is almost always better than you'll find elsewhere. I got nailed on supposedly beating the closing line on 365 so I get that beef. But you need to conceal your stuff better if you want a hope of a book giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Mostly that is what happens when arbers and steam chasers spot an opportunity. Sure there will also be an element of that for players following a popular service. From the "book's" perspective it doesn't matter where the lead comes from. The result for them is the same. They get caught with one-sided action they don't know how to deal with and label them all as arbers. Real bookmakers manage their books rather than booting players.
