The Patriot backs all do different things and create a lot of versatility.
We'll see....losing Vickerson hurts but Knighton is better against the run then any remaining Pat DT. I also see Denver blitzing alot and leaving the white boys w/single coverage. NE can't put 8 in the box with Denver's VASTLY SUPERIOR RECEIVING CORP and there isn't going to be 35 mph winds to slow Manning down either.I would still play NE + pts if forced because Belechik > Fox is real but Blount pummeling INdy means nothing. Indy got worked by 4 TDs+ by St. Louis and Arizona....yeah they beat Seattle and Denver but they were never elite.

If NE is such a juggernaut then why did they need the refs to nip Cleveland at home or scrape by Case Keenum by a field goal? You're acting like they're a monster cause they beat Indy and Baltimore.

Pats beating Indy is a lot more convincing than DEN beating SD. Indy had a lot of quality wins and were dangerous.

The Pats are a different team these past few weeks and they are getting healthy at the right time. And Cleveland was a quality team this season, btw. Houston was not, but that was a classic letdown spot for New England on the road.

If Denver blitzes a lot Brady will expose that secondary all day long. Without Chris Harris, there is not a single quality player in that group. Rodgers-Cromartie is a good athlete, but not a very good cover corner at all.

I have a HUGE futures bet on the Patriots to win the SuperBowl but I'm hedging it and taking Denver ML. I am most worried about N.E.'s Defensive Line. They can't get pressure and it's going to kill them this game.

The Patriots played well this year even on the road (4-4) and every loss could have been a win. Even with that said no pressure on Manning will be why they lose.

I can't really disagree with you that much except all Brady can do with this group is dink and dunk...making it easier to defend. 3rd down they run a pick play for Vereen out of the backfield. SDs off line was playing pretty well and Denver collapsed the pocket on them for 3 quarters so thats Denvers chance. Harris is a HUGE loss though. Actually Tony Carter was pretty decent last year but has barely played this year. I'm not playing the game and I see your points but I don't see how you think NE has a chance in hell to slow Denver down as well. The front 7 can't stop the run due to injury and they can't load the box either. Talib is good but thats it. Julius Thomas will run wild....prob Decker too. It could be a classic 34-30 kind of game. If Denver is stupid and lays back then NE will hold the ball for 33 min or more and could make PM press a little.

I disagree on their coverage too...DRC is pretty good and Champ played well vs SD. Treviathan is a really good cover LB as well. It comes down to Del RIo giving help to the other guys when needed.

IMHO This game is going over, neither one of these defenses will be able to stop these HF QB's very often.
NE has evolved and adapted to the loss of the BIG Te's. They are not the same Offense they were earlier in the year when they were trying to figure out who they were. BB cannot be put in a box, he will take what the D gives him and that powerful running game will make play action lethal against this leaky Denver D. PM also has to many weapons for BB to take out. Last three games between these two were over. It's got last team with the ball-last type game written all over it. The weather forecast looks juicy for a shoot out.

    Den/NE O 54 - 130 bought 1PT

That is just bonus points. Peyton will choke before any of that comes into play.

This is how you make money. A middle pays 20/1 if you hit it. Do the math.
The line is back up to 6. Books don't care for you Patriots money.
What middle are you going to hit?
How does a middle pay 20-1?
How many middles have hit this year?

That's not totally true. I saw it at Sportsbook.com at 7 and it was up there (7) and at Pinny. (6.5) before the game was even over. It didn't stay at 7 for very long but I DID SEE IT AT 7.

    Imo, Broncos got this one:

    - Pats have been just awful on the road this year, losing to Jets, Dolphins and Panthers. They barely beat Texans as we are speaking.
    - Pats are definitely not going to show that good of a defense as Chargers did against the Broncos.
    - Broncos showed pretty good defense in the playoffs, although it was only 1 game.

Yeah thats why 6 of the last 7 games between the 2 have been 7 pts or less and the one that wasn't was 31-21 last year when McGeehee fumbled in the red zone and dropped a 4th down pass. Manning was up and down the field as usual.

When: Oct. 7, 2012, at New England
    Stage: Regular season (Week 5)
    Brady: 23-of-31, 223 yards, 1 TD
    Manning: 31-of-44, 337 yards, 3 TDs
Signature moment: Brady leads two TD drives in the third quarter, one capped by a one-yard TD in the fourth quarter, to put New England ahead 31-7.

Stats from that 31-21 game....typical of this series. Manning 337 & 3 tds....Brady 223 and 1 but Peyton is the choker to the average Joe Clueless because McGeehee can't hold on to the ball.

+6 and +220 is ridiculous imo and I'm saying upfront I'm hiding til June if Denver lays an egg again. Belechik has had time to make adjustments w/their injuries. Von Miller and Chris Harris just happened. Plus Vickerson, Wolfe, and Moore too. Denver will be fortunate to get out with any win
