Not really. You can do a million other things first pitch besides throwing one he put over the wall. Including throwing high, low, outside, something with a slight movement or a different pitch all together. Anything would have been better than first pitch over the plate steam. LOL, Wainwright gave up a run again. I should have stayed away from that prop today: he is known to give up runs in the 1st inning. He will probably be lights out from now on, until the 6-7th inning.
