    Mid Tennessee @ North Texas (-6.5) Sat, Oct 12 7:00 PM ET

    Going back to the well for my 1st 3x play of the season. They came through very easily for us (2x play) the first time against Georgia and I expect they will again this time around.

    The Blue Raiders aren't a very good football team, they started off strong but lets looks at who they beat. Western Carolina (1-5), Memphis (1-3), Florida Atlantic (1-3). They have struggled on offense especially in the Red Zone scoring on less than 70% percent of their visits. Qb Logan Kilmore has really been sub-par this season throwing more picks than Td's and barely completing 60% of his passes. If not for a very talented backfield this offense would easily be one of the worst in the nation.

    On the Defensive side of the ball they are very bad. Don't tell me they are in top of the nation in takeaways, because they got 9 in those 3 wins I talked about including 5 against FAU! They give up over 450 a game and can't get off the field on 3rd down.

    The Mean Green are in a huge bounce back spot. They are back home after 2 very tough road games @ Georgia & @ Tulane. They are much better at home, as they have a huge win over Ball St (who has cashed for us a few times this year). They move the ball up and down the field over 400 yards per and their QB Derek Thompson is one of the better players you haven't heard of. He is very efficient ranking near the top in completion %, and has one of the most underrated WR groups in the country.

    Under the lights in Apogee Stadium, North Texas should rack up a ton of yards and easily snap their 2 game losing streak.

    North Texas -6.5 (-110) 3x

    Expect the line to move to the key number shortly.

    No Injuries really to report
    Weather Should have no factor
    Line moving up from the opener

    Have been following the Mean Green and dropping a bet or two on em here and there. Was just handicapping the game and looked back at the forum and this thread was posted. I too like N. Texas a program that is definitely improving and building a name. I will probably have to lay the full 7+ with my book at weeks end. Nice to see someone else spotted this game.

    watched the entire mtsu-byu game and it was like men vs boys. made me think mtsu was the worst team in the nation. of course now we know byu is pretty damn good

    I don't think I would say BYU is pretty damn good. They are 3-2. I also watched the MTSU-BYU game..... BYU looked HORRIBLE! They turned the ball over 5 times! (4 fumbles 1 int) BYU still managed to cover the -24.5 spread! This game wasn't on my list but I will add it now! Thanks for sharing!

    I follow the MAC and Big 10 the closest. I am an eye test bettor. N. Texas is a physical team that shows up to play hard and let the helmets fly. I like any team that tries to win the game by sledgehammering their opponents into submission. At home against a weak opponent is a recipe for success. I don't think the Mean Green has hit stride offensively yet. This D they are facing will help them start the engine and drive right over them. N. Texas has played the tougher schedule will take a look at injuries before Sat.
