    49ers look like an average team this year. That dominating defense looked OK against GB but has been very average. You can blame the QB and offense but the 9ers were winning with a great D. Without it, they are pretty average.

    receivers simply aren't getting off of coverage from DBs and ever since his days at Nevada Kap has ALWAYS had issues with a 3 step drop and passing.

    defenses are now forcing him to 3 step drop and now this is the result you are seeing.

    he is at his best, in the zone read, pistol, or out of the pocket. and the defenses are now catching up to the gimmick, zone read/pistol and not allowing him to edges or outside the pocket.

    simple as that.

    Kap at his best is the best there is in the game. He's in a slump afterall Ted Williams went 0 for 4 a few times. He'll bring his team as far as any dual threat QB can. Of all the young dual threat QB's go none can run as fast with ball in hand in full uniform than Kap and none has the power arm he has. Only Manziel who isnt in the league yet, as the prototype swivel hipped darter has anything on Kap as a ball carrying QB but he's not as fast!
