I'm hoping this is the wake up call that Roland Garros and Aussie organisers finally need. Just because someone from the home country is playing it doesn't mean it's the marquee matchup. For some reason these two Slams do this all the time. They schedule a much better match earlier and then the match that follows pales in comparison as any would. Even if Tsonga had been competitive in this one people would still be yawning after the Djoko/Nadal match. If you have two much better players due on the same day put them as the premier match. So stupid.

.Not sure if Venditto still posts here but him and I were always betting on Ferrer and cheering him on back in the glory days of SBR Chat when we could get + odds on him and he'd slaughter people on clay. I really hope he did one of his legendary bets on our boy. This is perfection watching him school Tsonga and Patty deserves to reap a crapload of cash from this beauty.

Doughy, Fed isn't a dirtballer. He's also a notorious error machine hence the nickname Federror. He's always been error prone but could always overpower people back in the day. Now other players are getting stronger so when he starts spraying balls everywhere the guys who are good enough take advantage of it. I had Fed to beat Tsonga in my contest but in all honesty I wasn't shocked as Tsonga's given him trouble many times.

I'm so happy!!! I don't think Ferrer stands much of a chance but him and Nadal are such close friends and Ferrer making the final means so much to him. Just thinking about the Aussie Open when Nadal finished the match out despite being injured because he loves and respects Ferrer so much, I'm sure I'll cry at some point in this one again and am looking forward to your preview!

ferrer may take a set (although i hope the guy wins his first grand slam, hes a fighter and more deserving at the age of 31 then anybody else). i wish djokovic mentally and physically drained rafa a bit more in the final set. was hoping like 15-13 if this were a three set match i think ferrer would have a very nice chance , but rafa makes tennis more physical then anyone ive ever seen. i dont see ferrer staying with rafa if this match goes the distance. sucks to be such a damn good player on clay and be denied a grand slam cuz of one of yur closest friends .
