    Kevin Durant

Anyone still holding out that he should have been MVP....

Nope. LBJ clear MVP but don't forget he had wade and bosh to make it easier on him.

During the reg season, Durant had Westbrook and that took a lot of heat off of him.

LBJ didn't win anything without Bosh and Wade.

Jordan didn't win anything without Pippen and Jackson coaching.

Kobe without Shaq or Gasol and Jackson coaching.

Shaq without Wade or Kobe and Jackson coaching.

It's not hard to game plan for one superstar and 4 role players, especially when you're as good defensively as Memphis.

This is a team sport and nobody can or has done it alone.

OKC will be back next year playing Memphis is round 2, hopefully healthy.

The teams in the Finals are the healthiest teams with their starters playing.

I remember hearing that he wouldn't win a MVP in this situation.

I was one of the people bashing him last year obviously, but he turned the corner. Dominating in the clutch. Dominating on D. Dominating at PG. Shooting the jump shot well.

And some of us thought Wade would be the alpha dog on that team.

I'm glad Wade swallowed his pride and took a backseat to Lebron.

Me too. So much fun to watch. LBJ is just on a different level than everyone else. Never seen anything like it.

Also fun to watch Ray Allen on the Heat, the bitterness by the Celtics was fun too.

Olajuwon is one of the best ever. And you may be correct.

Two points after I looked up the post season stats

    1. Durante #'s this post season are almost identical to Hakeem's in 94, granted HO won a ring.

    2. The Rockets had Clyde Drexler. He averaged 20ppg that post season. Minus Durant, this OKC has nobody near as good as Drexler, even an older Drexler.

I bet OKC's second leading scorer this post season averaged 13ppg. I don't know but probably not far off.

olajuwon was a one man wrecking crew though. Loved watching his turn around, fade on the baseline.
