What do you prefer? MLB TV or MLB Package through Cable provider???

Going to cost me $130 for MLB Tv or $200 for the Cable package.

I prefer to watch the games on tv obviously, and I do have the HDMI cable to plug computer into tv but that's a pain in the ass.

Which one did you go with and why?

The free preview was supposed to end April 7th but I'm still getting it for whatever reason.

I was looking into it today, getting sick of gamecasts

Is the cable package MLB extra innings?

If so goddamn uverse doesn't carry it for me so no NHL centerice, NHL network, MLB network, or MLB extra innings for me.

    Never get uverse folks, NEVER!

    Get the Cable.

The quality is not as good when you connect the computer to the tv.

They usually have an early bird special but I guess they missed it or something, and like I said for whatever reason I'm still getting the channels even though the free preview was suppose to be over on the 7th...

Lol +EV decision would be wait until they stop giving them to you for free... If they don't stop you never have to buy anything

Also Comp to TV is a pain because it requires both to achieve one thing

Nice to have two things (or more) available to you at once.

I prefer mlb.tv. I have two monitors and my tv hooked up to my computer so I get more for my money. Long term this is the way to go.

The only issue with mlb . tv or NHL gamecenter is if you live bet... Both are delayed by almost a minute on every game... Dunno why its called nhl live than.

me as well haven't had cable in a while... just download tv shows/movies

MLBtv is a auto re-new $125 or whatever it was is worth it for the season no questions asked... and just use a VPN to get around the blacked out games

    I have the directTV package!

But I also have 5 TV's in my Den so that I can watch all 5 games at once!

But the channel 720, THE MLB GAME MIX is a MUST HAVE channel. You can watch 8 games at once.

But then again I am a HUGEEEE baseball bettor. Maybe that is why I insist on having all of the games

Yes forgot about the blackout issues to. Depending on where you're at, your local games will be blacked out. For instance, I'm an hour away from LA. The only games I watch are dodger games but they're all blacked out.

With MLB .tv you can use a VPN to work around and view all games. When you go with your cable providers, I believe they blackout games depending on your mailing address. Therefore there would be no possible work around.
