SBR Store needs to bring back Moneybookers withdrawals

I'm almost due to renew my SBR Pro status, but jeez, as a Canadian, the benefits have massively decreased since last year.

Is this place barely solvent or what? The fact that the prizes for the major contests here have continually diminished the past few years is one thing... the BetIslands fiasco/scandal is another...but the rewards offered to Canadian Pros..well, they now suck.

I read somewhere that the Moneybookers option was removed because some members from some Euro countries were abusing it. Then I read that sending gift cards to Canadians was a hassle for SBR... seriously? Canadians could easily be accommodated if SBR could be bothered. Any other explanation is spin to avoid admitting the real reason: to cut costs.

So what's the point of renewing Pro membership as a Canadian? For the keener apologist ready to chime in with some spiel about sportsbook cash, it's a rhetorical question. I'm not exactly stoked to register at another sketchy sportsbook and send them copies of my ID.. not that a bonus at a book with a 5x rollover is anywhere near the value that the Moneybookers withdrawal or a lot of the Store items were.

    Feedback out.

Never heard of you either, but I'm pretty good at avoiding interaction with losers, notwithstanding this reply.

What's the benefit of going pro this year?

I see that the only available method to renew or go Pro for US members is $200 Charity donation or 3000 betpoints.

Yet the SBR Pro offerings are at an all time low.

Maybe it's just me but I don't see any reason to go Pro other than getting 12 points a day, which doesn't really seem worth it. Are there new exciting upcoming contests or something? I don't see what the benefit is anymore for US members.

Lou loved me, pretty sure I got the first, then they realized it was a good idea. So Jo-Jo has carried it on.

for non-US countries, does the sportsbook cash only work for new accounts? or just accounts created through SBR links?

Last week I applied for Draft Kings cash and today I get a message saying they're no longer a sponsor... and Fanduel and DraftDay are "not available to users outside the US." like almost every other item in the store.

This isn't what I signed up for as a Pro almost a year ago and SBR isn't really encouraging Canadians to resubscribe. If anything, they're doing the exact opposite. Frankly, SBR could have zero rewards for all I care but when you sign up for something it should be honoured for the full year... not massively lowered in value over the term.

Canadians can only get Sportsbook cash from the store now. But you have to have joined the sportsbook through an SBR link and sent that sportsbook at least $50 to be able to get that cash through the SBR store. So yea the SBR store has gotten more restrictive
