    Ohio St is just not good

    Surprising going into the season with Thomas and Craft. But Craft can only play defense. They are flat out just not good.

    Exactly. Craft would be a great back up guard to come in and spark some energy. But he cant score or create his own shot.

    Craft is a great player, but when you ask him to do things he can't (like score a lot), he struggles. He is a great asset to a team who only needs him as a defender and a distributor. Ohio St's problem is that they need him to create on offense because they are so offensively challenged.

    there MIGHT be a handful of teams with the luxury to be able to play a guy like that....craft was fortunate to play for a team with a few good-great scorers the last couple years

    Exactly. Basketball is all about players having a role. Once you take them out of their role and ask them to do too much, that's when bad things start to happen.

    I'm probably in the minority, but I would love to have craft on my favorite team. He does so much in terms of the unmerasurable stats, defensive pressure, not allowing opposing guards to easily get into their sets. Osu just lacks scoring, otherwise he would get a ton of praise. Ask the best point guard in the nation (Burke), if he would rather havehim on his team.

    Same here, I'd love to have him on my team. Who wouldn't. But if you need an aggressive scoring PG, he's not your guy. But if you got plenty of weapons on offense, he'd be a great PG to have on your team.
