I've asked my friends this at various times throughout the season. Common answers were Louisville, then UofM, then Indiana... I still say neither of those three win it.

I've had money with odds out on MSU, Zaga, Cuse, Miami, florida, KU, ND & UNLV for quite a while all at great odds, obviously some of those don't look as strong anymore. If duke gets Ryan kelly back I say the blue devils run the brackets. But, for now Kansas is still my pick though. KU has the talent (maclemore, releford) they got the BIG (withey = total beast) and they got the coach (self had been there before, got the experience & heart). I think the jayhawks get their sh!t together in march and make another run.

Whose your team, right here right now??

i think a 'big ten team' vs 'the field' winning it all would be a good bet this year.

I'll say this there will not be a number one seed in the final four. With that said I am gonna pick butler. They've been close for two years making it to the big game but losing. This is the year they win it. Just remember this great prediction when it goes down come April.

Tough to agree because they get a pretty smooth road to the sweet 16/elite 8

Butler is definitely out-talented by many teams, but those scrappy@ss dogs always play great under the spotlight. I certainly wouldn't want my spartans running into them in the tourney (again).

Yeguete being out def hurts the gators BIG TIME. (Taking their opponent +28 tomorrow for sure). He is their clutch 6th man who basically runs the defense, grabs huge boards and his absence really hurts the structure of their team IMO.

I didn't realize that, that changes things. Sounds like he could be back by Tourney time though. Syracuse will win it if they get James Southerland back.

    Got Cuse 22-1
    Butler 25-1
    Michigan 6-1
    VCU unlisted(50-1 last time available)

Don't particularly love Cuse but the odds were great on them.

They have a shot with Southerland I will give you that. Not sure they have a good enough inside presence to win it all though. They are deep as hell which helps them out in that regard.

I wish I could get a prop that says a #1 or #2 seed wont win it all. I wouldnt be shocked if a 3,4 or even 5 seed won it all.

I remember the year after Butler lost to Duke... at work, I got two teams in a pool and one was some shit school and the other was Butler and my first thought was, hell... they got to the final last year, no way in hell they go on another run. well... they did, and I got 2nd place and made a few bucks on em lol

I could see them getting their again with all these inconsistent teams that don't know how to go on a tournament stomping like UNC did in 2009.

    go Butler

Miami is a 2 or 3 seed in danger of losing in the first game. They are a team ready for a letdown

This is a veteran team that gets better each game. I've watched them play 3 times this year and two different teams from December. I don't think they keep up the pace but they are the kind of squad that goes deep in the tourny. We'll see.

It's wide open this year. Wouldn't surprise me at all if a #3 or #4 seed win it.

They can't win with this team. They have no point guard. Elijah Johnson is not a floor general. Would be a cinch if they had a true PG.

Christmas can be a threat inside when we actually give him the ball. The thing that will keep us in every game is our defense and especially in the Tourney when teams don't see the zone every year like the other teams in the Big East who are ready for it. This year the D could carry Cuse the whole way, we haven't had length at the top of the zone like this in a while, probably ever. We're always long but 6'6 and 6'4 up top with the guards is tough to navigate then 6'8 on each wing. Carter-Williams is the key to everything though, he needs to facilitate things and one thing he does great that we rarely have is rebound for a guard. Not as many offensive rebounds that the zone is prone to because he crashes the boards and is a legit 6'6 with insane length. Should be a fun tourney.
