    I actually took the points. Conference game and hoping UNC is looking ahead to Miami. Wake coming off three brutal losses, hoping they can turn it around and keep it close. May take UNC first half to hedge my bet a bit.

    make sure to check up on the news, tarheels having a flu bug going around for the past couple days.Starting forward James Michael McAdoo, who hurt his back near the end of Saturday's win over Virginia Tech and sat out Sunday’s practice because of soreness, went through about half of Monday’s practice, Williams said. “And unless it flares up again, I would expect him to play,’’ against Wake Forest on Tuesday, he added.
    Starting center Desmond Hubert, who was suffering flu-like symptoms during Sunday’s practice, also went though about half of Monday’s practice. “He didn’t feel great, he was worn out … but again, I would expect him to play,” Williams said.
    As for P.J. Hairston, who missed Saturday’s game because of a concussion, also came down with the flu Sunday night: “I really don’t see how P.J. can play.” Williams reiterated that the sophomore was administered an IV on Monday morning, but was only able to watch practice Monday afternoon. His illness is not related to his concussion. Just some info, if your getting them the good luck

    yes . unc is a top program and wake is the doormat of the acc.

    wake has gotten blown out the last 2 road games by maryland and GT

    now they go into the dean dome full of drunk rednecks screaming and jumping around .... very hostile enviorment.

    i was liking unc a lot as well until the injury/sickness report

    still, if unc doesnt cover i will not post for 1 hour after the game ends, that reflects my level of confidence here, if i see a thread, especially one about racism in the saloon, it will kill me to have to wait an hour to post in it, but i dont think it will come to that

    The Dean Dome, as of late, has been far from a very hostile environment. I say this not just as a Carolina fan, but as a current student. It's a pretty high ratio of old white folk with Ram's club memberships, actually. Also, I have never seen a drunk redneck at a UNC game. I think you're thinking about the PNC arena?

    Anyway, I'm certainly hoping for a blowout as well, but with the health issues and overall inconsistency of this team, I wouldn't bank on them to cover.

    As a life long Heels fan, you are right on. The Dean Dome can rock, but really hasn't much since Hansbrough's crew left after the '09 NCAA Championship. The Heels had trouble with Va. Tech on Saturday and Wake is at least as good. If I bet the game, gotta take Wake and the points. The flu bug will keep this from being a blowout!!
