    Rockets running up score on Jazz

    Was reading play by play. Houston was clearly going for a 50 point win or something. Chucking up 3s up by 47 points with under a minute to go? Utah scores with 24 sec left and instead of dribbling the clock out Houston chucks up another 3 within seconds.

    I never understood running up the score in the professional sports. They are both professional, paid big bucks and should be playing to their best ability.

    as stated above its bench players trying to impress they don't care what the score is. And plus this is the NBA no such thing as running up the score.

    Lol, running up the score. They played the bench all fourth quarter while playing their style of basketball. They're not a post up team so going to penetrate and kick out for 3's. Forgive them if those shots are dropping.

    They ran up the score cuz Houston had to cover the 2h over 103. It was so obvious 2h line movement favored the over. Tons of sharp money was on the over 2h

    I don't have an issue with it. The bench players were in the game.

    At any rate, these guys get paid to play basketball. They get paid to play offense and defense. As long as there is time on the clock, they should be doing what they are paid to do. That's why it's called "professional" sports.

    It's not like it was Harden and Lin out there jacking up threes in the final minutes.

    I was a big fan of his when he was with the Bulls. He plays really good defense aswell.
