    Sharks looking deadly this may finally be their year.

    They have more playoff chokes than my Canucks though

    They are like the Western Conference gatekeepers until the West Finals then it's lights out usually.

    So much talent they are bound to win a cup. If Niemi keeps up his strong play they are a legit contender.

    Talent does not win in hockey or else it be Pens-Wings final every year.

    Sharks basically have one line, maybe 1.5, which when playoff hockey comes around they get shutdown because penalties are called different and no more easy power play goals.

    So then you go back to a series of coin flips. The CHI-PHX is the most perfect example.


    Somehow Chicago is a super cup contender this year yet their team has not changed.

    Playoff hockey is great but then you end up with two crap teams like the Kings-Devils playing for the Cup.

    What a dramatic turnaround, sharks dominated that game today and still lost. Third period shots were 15-3 sharks with a bunch of those being great looks.

    sharks penalty kill looks improved. we shall see if they can sustain it. terrible penalty killing (and partly goaltending) is why they choke in playoffs every year. you cant win if your penalty kill is terrible. fortunately they look like they have done better last several games. lets see if they can sustain it.
