This is unbelievable!

I have placed a live bet on David Ferrer during the 4th set to win the 4th set, when David Ferrer got broken by Nicolas Almagro.

1) First, the odds were 2.25, I marked the ticket to accept any change of odds.
2) Second, the bet was accepted with odds of 1.70 - really poor odds, but wtvr... you know, it's a bet on €100 because they only take live bettings in € currency, so it charged me £83.41 for this bet.

As you can see the bet was placed on 4:31am UK time, this was when the 4th set was being played ....



The bet mentions "Winner of Set" but doesn't mention which set!!!
I even had a bet "UNDER" on the Knicks / Nets, which was under 192.5, but again they only mention "Under" without the figure 192.5 but this bet was deemed as a winning one, luckily I guess !!!

So I just went in live-chat with them and this is what they say:

Give them a chance to respond via email before bringing this whole thing to the forum. Live betting frequently has small errors like this, and usually the situation is rectified once you point out the mistake (at least at good books that is the case, I have no idea as to this books reputation).

I've just made another test with them and placed a €10 bet on Djokovic to win the 1st set ... take a look at these screenshots:



You see clearly it says "Winner of Set 1".

HOWEVER

My "Open bet" shows "Winner of Set", so they can say later on it was a bet placed on the winner of the 2nd or 3rd set .... I just don't get it ... is this how they scam people and don't play fair ?????

That's why Bet365 has a good amount of respect, some smaller books probably only have 1 or 2 guys with the authority to grade a wager, and if they are both off work, no one on live chat would be able to do anything for you. Even at DSI (top notch CS) I'll encounter times where I have to wait to be contacted by someone from the proper department. They will tell me when I can contact them to speed up the process, not have me waiting on an email, which would suck.

They should of course relate the bet to the 4th set because that's what I had on my screen!
I haven't saved a screenshot of it like the one I showed you above with Djokovic but it is pretty obvious if the bet was placed at 4:31am UK time, the match has started at 3:30am UK time ... and it took 50 minutes to end 3 sets ... then this bet was placed during the 4th set !!

They are making me wait now, promised to receive a response later on today, within a few hours ... I asked them to confirm so in writing that I would receive a response TODAY ... and now I'm waiting for their response and have no clue what is going on in the meantime!!

How can you play live betting when it is not even Live? They can delay verifying a bet for MINUTES, they can change the price without you agreeing to it, and then they can tell you this BS that you are encountering.

I never bet live betting where there is more than 3 or 4 seconds before the bet is either verified or they give me the option of a new line.

I'll elaborate, if you have money to post up, why would you post up at a crappy book when you could post up with a book like 5D.

Ask to speak to a supervisor there, if he or she gives you the run around, file a complaint with SBR, they might do something for you. If it get resolved or not, pull your funds out of there, because they are a crappy book

That makes sense now, because my bet was placed at 4:31am UK time, when the score was 2-1 after Almagro's break.
So that solves the picture now.

Just relax and wait for their response before going completely off the deep end... It probably was just a grading error and they have to dig up the results the same as you did. Once you have their response (which, if it is a badly managed book might regrettably take some more time) and your problem isn't resolved you can file a complaint with SBR. No sense in continuing to hammer the chat support as it won't speed up the process...

Yes sir, it's not a lot of money for me, but I don't like being screwed, I don't like it when people step on me, and be it £5 bet that I'm being screwed with, I would chase it if necessary because I hate it when there is no justice!!!!

So yes, this specific case is bothering me, the fact this website is trying to screw me up is something I cannot stand, and I would spend time and energy making sure these idiots rectify their mistake!!!!!!
