    They played 4 Top 25 teams and held USC at home to 13 points. Alabama played 5 Top 25 teams and lost to one, Texas A&M. Alabama has also yet to play a defense anywhere near to what Notre Dame is going to show them tonight.

    Don't understand why everyone is over thinking this game. ND should've lost to Michigan at home under the lights. When Bama played Michigan the game was over before it started. ND has a freshman quarterback and Bama has all the experience. Bama rolls big! On Bama 18x myself.

    Alabama actually did lose to Texas A&M, should have lost to LSU, and could have lost to Georgia. ND freshman QB has led his team to an undefeated season and the National Title Game. McCarron lost already to a freshman QB in Manziel when they lost to A&M.

    On Irish as well but all the "should have lost" talk goes both ways. ND "shoulda lost" to Pitt, stanford, as well but didn't! Call it Irish luck or maybe some extra zebra love but they get it done. Love there lock down red zone defense which is better than Bama's and just feel win or lose they continue to roll and keep this close if nothing else. I will take the pts... Go IRISH!!
