Cinci lost to a team that they should have beat, Pitt lost to Mich., Pitt wins easy here. Plus Pitt at home very though at home.

i wish pit has played some more legit teams as they really have only faced one legit top 50 team and they lost that gm...still on pit cause they play solid d and cincy offense is terrible, they take horrible shots and one guy dribbles way to damn much on every possession..pit will make this a half court gm and they control the defensive glass so the 2 ways cincy generates offense (on the break and offensive boards) will be negated...not sure how anyone would take the 6 if they think cincy winning is a "stretch", imo if the spread less than 7 you only take the dog if you think they can win and i just dont think cincy a smart enough team to win in pit..

both teams are kind of unknown quantities.

Cincy ranked high based on pre season expectations and a cup cake sched that had them 12-0 at the time of rankings.

Pitt, came into the season unranked and untouted, starting 2 freshmen for the first time in Dixon era. It seemed like a rebuild. they've also mostly had a cupcake sched.

regarding the great PETE home court advantage. I think they lost more than they won their last year in BE play. Including a loss to Cincy. and Remember the University is on Break, so there is no way that the ZOO is gonna be anywhere near as big of a factor. Gonna be alot of father's taking their sons to this game as a Christmas present from Mom.

very true, but to me percentage wise pit a decent play, obviously could lose but i think cincy has to shoot a real high percentage from 3 for that to happen so to me this bet wins more than loses, whether it wins today who knows..all ya can do is make as many of the plays you see value in as possible and hope you know what ya doing..

Don't think Pitt is as good as advertised. We will see who dictates the game. Just think 6.5 is to many points.

not this year. This isn't your typical Pitt team, kinda like they weren't last year.

a team still trying to find its identity.

James Robinson the PG for Pitt is really really quietly becoming a star to watch for the next 3 years though. This kid's "moxie" for a frosh has been amazing.

as far as scoring Patterson and Moore are the only real scorers on this team. They can get their own shot, Tray has to get his shots in the flow of the offense. Zanna, Adams, Taylor pretty much rely on offensive rebounds, and passes off of interior penetrations. They don't really have any offensive repertoire

they are a VERY deep team, but still haven't got their chemistry down. This will be a good test and barometer for them

yea think i was saying how poorly they play in a half court gm.. their offense is one guy dribbling around and someone jacking usually a bad shot unless they can get to the rack, and unlike most the teams they have played pit plays interior d.. think the only play the have is a high screen for the ball handler, i never see their bigs set screens for each other off the ball or any attempt to use them, do you? you prob watch them more than me so am i wrong?

You hit it on the head. It gets very frustrating to watch. They are more of an up tempo team. We will see what happens when they start pressing.
