If you are a Total Rewards member and gamble much at all they will comp your room Sun - Thurs pretty much anytime at Ballys, Harrahs, Flamingo, Rio, IP (ugghh). I am going for 7 nights in Dec for a total of $30 for the week.

Ballys is far from a dump. Imperial Palace/Riv both dumps.

I wouldn't really call it a dump, do ask for a complimentary upgrade and tip 20 bucks and get the north tower. It's worth it for free/15 bucks a night especially for the location.. Now if it was Imperial Palace i'd rather sleep on the streets at downtown vegas..

i've stayed at bally's only once, way back on new year's eve 2001. wasn't bad at all back then, but not sure if they've done any renovations since.

I've stayed at most of these places over the last 10 years and Bally's is right up there with the biggest shit holes in Vegas...bring your own fukking vacuum.
