    Can this line be right Alabama -24 Playing an unbeaten team

    2 7-0 teams playing and -24 I know Mississippi St hasn't played big names but bama hasn't either

    Even as an undefeated team, Miss St. is an untested team. I was thinking of betting them last week against Mid Tenn and couldn't just based on watching their film and looking at their game stats. They aren't dominating teams they should be (except for the 2h of last game of course).

    That said, 24 pts is a lot and it's not like Alabama needs to leave their foot on the gas to let everyone know that they are the best college foots team in the country. Everyone already knows that.

    That is a huge line. Miss. St. isn't that bad. I would have put that at 14. I know Alabama has been destroying everyone they are playing but this game could be closer than this line is.

    Mississippi State doesn't have the personnel to go punch for punch in the trenches like LSU, nor the speed to draw their refrigerator sized people into space like Auburn did a couple years back. With a talent disparity so large, Saban is going to play conservative and keep Miss st from even having a puncher's chance at keeping the score respectable. It'll be 24-3 at half and Alabama wins by 30+.

    Its a trap. Some of these lines seem inflated as heck, sort of like the Iowa State this last weekend. They got smoked.

    Line for Wildcats vs Sooners was also pretty high a few weeks back and that turned out well for the double-digit dog.

    Can Mississippi St score more than 14 points?
    I thought Tennessee could, but they could not.
    Now Miss St is playing this amazing defense.

    Can any team in the SEC score more than 14 points on Bama? Texas A&M will have a higher total than 14 I would imagine.

    being a bulldog fan and seeing all games this year think bama can name the score here. bulldogs will not be able to stop bama run game between the tackles or outside either one. tenn put up over 200 yards rushing and were playing from behind. if not for the fumble in 3rd quarter by tenn they would have won game.

    I took +24.5. I had Bama - 20 last week as my top play because Tenn gives up a lot of big plays on defense. I love a nicked up South Carolina team to cover the -14 against them this week too. But in this one I see Bama trying to play conservative mistake free ball and try to keep the clock moving. MSU has enough offense to play a little field position and stay within 24 and a hook maybe a 27-10 type of game.

    Maybe not "look ahead" but definitely more likely to call off the dogs early and maybe let miss st backdoor cover (although the backdoor cover is more likely if miss st were at home).
