They made a mistake, now they been stiffed. Fukk U Lou. Ohhh so scared of getting banned on a degenerate gambling forum, like there's not 20 others. Fukk U.

I love all the self righteous people in this thread.

But it comes down to this....

Is 1500 a life changing mount for the guy and will he ever win that much again?

As far as him getting banned by SBR, he was a 'pro' so I assume he paid something somewhere to get that status. I would like to see the 'contract' this place has in terms of requirements when it comes to banning accounts.

I highly doubt it is 'legal' to ban a guy because of something he did to a third party.

That would be like Sears closing a guys lay away account and keeping the money he had posted because he shop lifted at JC Penny.

But this place takes itself way too seriously anyway. Books dont give a fukk what they say and nether do posters. Only thing that might have hurt the guy is if he had more than 1500 in trade points stored up and lost those. Which I doubt. So what does he care?

People playing hard ball with a guy with no conscience isnt going to work, if anything it makes it worse because those are the guys who take things personally and start proactively looking to screw people over. If anyting banning him probably lowered the chances of him giving the money back. Thats how it works with people that think that way.

Every time I see these situations it makes me laugh because everyone offers reasoning and advice that mirrors THEIR ethical code. Totally worthless, you cant reason that way with people. Never worked never will.

Like I said if the money is life changing to him and he feels he wont suffer any repercussions from it he wont send it back. Losing posting privileges at some forum full of degenerates wont change it, especially when he can just make a ghost or a dozen and keep right on posting. Nor is not being able to bet at that book anymore.

As far as karma and all that nonsense, you think he gives a shit? Or even believes in it? To him the karma was getting the money in the first place, a bird in the hand and all that. Who cares what happens in the future that is just another independent event.

Personally I wouldnt keep it, but not for any reasons mentioned here. But I would damn sure let them know their accounting methods are total dog shit.

Pinnacle had an excuse when they were doing it, I am hesitant to think the excuse this book has is the same since it is nearly a decade later and processing methods have changed drastically since then.

Laverty, you are a slimebag and fraudulent human being. Most of the guys on SBR are young bucks and they don't know any different.... they also don't have any experience w/ the *********, which I try to educate them on. They don't know any better.

Guys like JJ who have been around the block a few times... they know you are pure slime.

But again, best of luck to you.

Dont make everyone from Houston look bad. Hell the book may even say just send $1000 via M$G and let you keep the rest.

Obviously $1500 is alot of money to him. I mean the guy is an assistant manager of a Mom and Pop pharmacy. Those type of pharmacies are not making the money that they used to make. Of course he never sends the money back to the government either when he gets paid double

I'm not disagreeing that it's deserved, but does this really accomplish anything?

Allowing the account to post does a couple of things...

    1. It allows the user to be identified as a stiff by the community of posters.
    2. It continues a dialogue to perhaps convince the stiff to return the money.

I really doubt the ability to post from his/her current username is going to sway the decision in the right direction. In fact, it probably helps to do the opposite.

I'm just guessing here but I'd say 60% of the posters here found sbr because they got screwed from an offshore book. Now you're asking a player to do the right thing? The books always get the last laugh with the rigged casinos. More importantly a book coming on to a forum asking for the money back tells me they are broke. 1500 write that crap off you just got 1500 in advertising .

Let's say I put $1,500 under your pillow while you're sleeping. In the morning you wake up, find the money, and say yippee! Now let's say I go onto a forum on the interwebs and say "hey, I put that money under your pillow by mistake. Yes it was my mistake that I put that money under YOUR pillow. Now if you don't give it back you are STEALING and not only that a SCUMBAG." Imagine that! You put money under MY GOD DAMN PILLOW.....AND NOW I'M FUKKNG STEALING!! LOL

I wonder what happened to the person at BI who is on the other end of the erroneous payment? I wonder what the back story is? Did some mother of five working 50 hours a week to feed her five kids lose her job? On one hand I can feel the dog eat dog attitude of they're getting theirs so I'm getting mine. At the same time I know how the they's of the sportsbook world operate. I also know that crap rolls downhill. Im sure BI the entity itself could really care less at the end of the day about the 1500.00. I can only imagine that some lowly employee at BI is worried about getting that 1500.00 back.

Hey, I guess its all part of the game though. Hopefully management over at BI ran into this post at put 2 and 2 together and heard from the horses mouth exactly how the over payment went down.
