It doesn't matter if the skill positions are loaded with pro-bowlers, if you can't protect the quarterback, who can't compensate for the pressure .A couple days ago,I would have sided with the Seattle Seahawks if I was forced to make a pick -2 1/2 or -3 for the opener at home against the Arizona Cardinals.I realize the preseason is meaningless and nobody is game-planning, but it doesn't take any particular football savvy to recognize the problems Seattle's defensive backfield where they are going nowhere fast. Seattle's defense should prove great opportunities for Arizona Cardinals to win the game outright[I look for one big inference call by Seattle for a Arizona score during game, thats how really bad the defensive backfield is??].The stingy first-string defensive backfield will be aided by what could be a potent four-man pass-rush... Seahawks will probably be trying to hide some serious vulnerabilities at some point. On the other side of the ball, are we conveniently forgetting that Skelton is 6-0 as a starter at home?Or that the far-and-away best player on the field, Larry Fitzgerald, will be in an Arizona uniform? I haven't. If I'm trying to look at this game objectively and not through the hometown Seahawks lens, I see a Cardinals' win in a good-scoring game on Sunday. Arizona QB John Skelton will have his go-to guy in Larry Fitzgerald but he’s not the only weapon as Michael Floyd has fans excited and should offer Skelton opportunities all over the field.Arizona’s running game can be solid if Beanie Wells can stay healthy but Ryan Williams is about to break into the starting lineup as well; he will force Wells to step up his game or lose the job.But I think if the O-line can open the holes? This is where Arizona will have to make big plays. The Cardinal’s O-line i think will play oustanding with the 1st home game of season by a packed stadium and will have no trouble fighting off a very tough Seahawk defense.

My Prediction:Cardinals+3 At Home {Cardinals 20, Seahawks 13]**[Conversely,the Seahawks went 4-0 in the preseason and 4-0 against the spread].
