both of the announcers on the broadcast said hr in the review. its over now, anyways just get rid of replay it solves nothing.

serious question - why couldn't MLB reverse this? The decision could be made as effectively in NYC or Milwaukee where Selig lives as it could have been made in the dugout replay booth that the umps used. They could resume the game tomorrow afternoon.

Playoffs at stake - it's a travesty. Even if casinos don't honor the "new" result MLB should still do the right thing IMO.

Because it's not indisputable evidence. I'm a Tiger fan and that much is painfully obvious.

the ******* HD camera from behind the plate showed it fair.

Clearly it can't be BOTH foul and fair at the same time. So you go with the FAR superior camera view.

the closer the view the harder it is to "capture" the ball against the pole - both in picture quality AND in speed of the camera and the ability to discern the ball v's the pole. the FARTHER view is the one that makes more sense to judge by.
