    Attention SBR MODS: CLARIFICATION ON BUMPING OLD THREADS

    Cougar Baits's video had some monologue about him getting a "warning" over bumping old threads from Reload.

    can we have some conversation over what is "TOO" old?

    the guy bumped one thread, and gets a warning?

    I know i've bumped threads that pertained to a subject or current news story in sports and PT happenings and gotten warnings/and or infractions and I've heard it from others.....

    One time Lou gave me multiple infractions and put me on post-review...

    (which SBRJOHN promptly reversed )

    I mean i don't care myself, but you guys should be at least giving an explanation to a former poster of the year and top 10 all time poster in CougarBait...... and I know i've seen others express confusion too....

    so what is the policy?

    The policy is don't bump a thread that shouldn't be bumped. The sole discretion of the moderators upon what is an unreasonable bump. This isn't a fukkin democracy, got it?

    I went back to bump some of my old threads because like so many other arbitrary rules they come up with I didn't like this one either, especially since it's apparently an unwritten rule. Turns out though I've never created a thread worthy of bumping even in the most defiant of times.

    Could it depend on the context of the bump? There could be a difference between a relevant bump and a "just stirring the pot" bump.

    Arch, it's clear that not only are the Mods allowed to use discretion to determine what constitutes as nuisance or not but they are also allowed to use discretion in deciding who gets a warning and who gets an infraction for the same offense.

    I went back and checked and bumping of threads is not included in the rules but then again things that are included in the rules are overlooked all the time depending on the poster anyways.

    a girl posted here like 20 times this evening, and a bunch of horny guys asked for her pic... so I bumped a thread with her pic in it, as an answer.

    a few months back instead of bumping a thread with an old willie bee picture that willie posted I just posted it in a thread and got an infraction for "posting personal pics of others"
