    Foles will be the starting qb in philadelphia next year and possibly this year if vick goes down for an extended period with injury. If foles comes in and does what jeff garcia did in 06 they wont take the job away from him even when vick comes back from the injury.

    Lets see him in a regular season game where coordinators and coaches are gamplanning and its not just 1 on 1 though although he did pass the week 3 preseason eyeball test

    I always like Foles when he was at Arizona. A ture pocket QB who goes through his reads and has a strong arm. I can tell you this, he'll have a better NFL career than Ryan Tannehill.

    It's just preseason, but he doesn't look flustered. Of course, Kevin Kolb looked good in regular season games with Philly and now look at the guy. I think he'll be a good fit in this system if given the chance to develop more. Eagles sure have good depth this year potentially which is a must with Vick likely to miss multiple games at some point. Between Foles, Edwards and Kafka - it doesn't feel like they will be dead in the water when Vick goes out, especially if they stick to running McCoy more again this season.

    He's had some good moments, but i've seen him have some bonehead moments as well at Arizona. Far ways away from being a full time starter in the league.

    I honestly would rather have seen Kafka taking snaps over Vince Young last year. I think Kafka's going to be an unfortunate cut from the team due to the injury. Bad timing for him. Edwards is probably going to be #3 because he's looked good in the preseason. Kafka may come back at some point, but he looks like a tough luck cut.

    Nick Foles is an absolute gamer. Prototypical pocket passer - Big guy, can easily see over the linemen, very good arm and accuracy is OK.

    The thing with Foles is he is a terrible "practice" QB. Here at Arizona, we had a guy starting ahead of Foles because of practice, once Foles was actually put in the game he shined immediately. It is why he fell so far down the draft board too.

    Before last college football season, Kiper and most draft specialists had Foles ranked as the 2nd best QB to be in the 2012 draft behind only Luck. The Wildcats were really bad last year because of coaching issues, and he never looks good in combine type situations - so there he went down the board.

    He is an absolute steal and I easily feel he has elite potential.

    Quite honestly, Smoke, I feel Foles could easily be the starting QB for the Eagles. Much bigger guy that isn't made of glass - and Reid can use a pocket QB.

    He would easily be the started in PHX. Reid already pulled one snow job on them though - he probably should give Foles to them.

    Really like Foles in the draft big quarterback that when he gets in to a rhythm can really move the chains. Also has somewhat of a gunslingers mentality which you need in the NFL. Future starting QB and this might be sooner than you think with Vick and his injury problems.

    Watched the kid while playing at AZ and wasn't impressed with him. Very inconsistent and his decision making left a lot to be desired. Philly isn't good enough on D and the OL is below average for them to succeed without Vick.

    how could you have not been impressed with him at Arizona???? he made big play after big play and was the ENTIRE team except for Juran Criner, especially when the team was a fkn mess with that lunatic head coach they fired mid season and he still continued to excel.

    He made good plays but a lot of bad ones as well. He was very unimpressive at times. You Can use his team was garbage but they werent horrible In 2010 and he still had A lot bonehead plays. He's also very slow, so he wouldn't thrive with the current Eagles OL.

    Yeah hes shown a lot of potential, but WHEN Vick goes down Im afraid hes not gonna be ready yet...though the new thing these days is throwing these young kids into the fire and seeing which ones make it out...If he has time to stay in the system he can definitely be a quality starter in a few years, but he'll probably be forced into it sooner than later, and only he can prove whether hes ready to lead an NFL team.

    Is it just me or doesnt he look like "Sunshine" from Remember the Titans???

    Don't worry - the guy was the 2nd best QB projected in the draft after Luck entering the season. Also, the best QB in the history of Arizona football. Mike Stoops fukked his draft stock up by being a terrible coach.
