    Oddsportal.com anyone?

Anyone use this site? Lot of cool features but kind of difficult to navigate but that may be my US background.

I use them quite a bit. I like checking out the arbs they've found although I rarely bet them.

And they're good for doing odds comparisons with some of the international books that don't get discussed much on SBR but are more popular here.

Wow, after I posted that this arb just popped up. I know quite a few of the Aussies play with Betfred.

Rugby Union France Top 14: Bordeaux Begles vs USA Perpignan Total 41.5 Over $2.14 at Pinny, Under $2.25 at Betfred = 9.7% profit

If you do not pay its not great

    Pay spinoff site better

    Typical confusing euro odds service

    OK...

    What's the angle here...

    SBRJohn, give me a winner...

99% of us only have $275 in one book...

We don't care about these odds sites, arbing, or any other waste of our time...

    Thanks Boss

I was looking for some good ingame line comparisons. Oddsportal seems pretty good but yea the odds like on US are ML decimal. They have a Asian Odds that lists pointspreads. A lot of good info but not aimed at this side of the pond I guess.

Yes, Oddsportal is the best free odds site that I've found for international sports.

JJ, you don't know what you are talking about, oddsportal is the greatest, but probably not for you Americans. They are not quite free since they earn a lot with sportsbook affiliate programs.

And they dont have "pay spinoff site".If you are referring to Rebelbetting, they are just small partners with oddsportal, but nothing big, and nothing similar.Rebelbetting comes from Sweden, Oddsportal from Czech Republic.

Oddsportal is a great site. But then I'm in the UK - its perhaps not do good for US bettors. The "spin-off", rebelbetting, offers a free trial.

In terms of selection of sports and leagues, yes. But I would pay a decent amount for odds software that had that selection combined with a 'screen' style layout, like Don Best. TX Odds sort of has that, but compared to DB, SO, or even SBR Odds, it is total garbage in terms of features. I ended up just writing my own primitive odds software, but if anyone knows about something like I describe, please, please, please tell me about it.

This is where the whole SBR staff(except the Vegemite syndicate) is asleep at the wheel
I told Dozer and probably whitey both in PM what oddsportal had a year ago and they where like
"yea whatever will check it out"
and oddsportal pales in comparison to the beta bet brain site

I clipped 2 books using Oddsportal (International Sports)
Line service and Live in plays odds
Many books are very slow to react.
    Excellent free service
I don't use them anymore, books started to heckle me!!!
I just stick to N.American Sports

To be fair SBR's main business is not odds and we focus heavily on the reviews & news and the picks & forum which are considerably better than Oddsportsl's.

    my my
a good book who made some mistakes and couldn't pay players and always had SBR follow up until THEY refused to deal with you because they simply can not pay
and you don't care why they where still linked at sbrodds
    we are your customers
and you do a great job
    but

    it was a valid observation

been around long enough not to add to the drama or make any up
    I don't believe you don't care
just as i believe there is more to why lowvig threads are treated as they are
do what you have to do

I used Oddsportal as my primary service for around a year and a half. It is an excellent odds comparison service for guys just getting started when it is not worth subscribing to a line service.

I found SBR odds to be a little better formatted for the spread sports - although SBR odds does not carry near enough bookmakers. So even though I preferred SBR odds for those sports I would always use Oddsportal and SBR as a combo.

After serving an apprenticeship betting small and using Oddsportal, i'm now subscribed to a few services and betting a lot bigger. I would recommend Oddsportal to anyone getting started, I still use it occasionally when I want a clear picture of which way most of the money is going.

Also their development team is always really responsive in taking on suggestions for new features. They have also added a number of leagues on request from me. I am sure they have done the same for others.

They are good for soccer mainly and tennis

It is horrific for usa sports

    Mostly delayed so useless

RebelBetting is the paid service for oddsportal and geared towards guys looking for weak lines in soccer and tennis

Betbrain another long time free euro odds service and their paid sister is betonvalue

Rebelbetting is a joke-it's the sportinsights of Europe

Now Bet brain is another story
it's a good site to use with SBR for the graphs of line moves
IF you need instant moves for US sports than Sportsoptions is your choice
If your like JJ and running your own high roller call center not connected to anything in Escazu than you have to pay for DB to see the instant CRIS,Grande,Legends changes
the US Sports on betbrain are not that delayed
I have seen them move a little before and little after SBR depends on what your watching

Maybe is not good for US sports if you live in the US, but outside it's pretty great. I used it plenty last season for American football.

If you ever follow roxy's soccer picks then good site, otherwise I see no use for it. Too me it's too "busy" of a webpage, with little use. But I did use it early summer when Roxy was on fire with soccer, just to get scores for those crazy ass soccer leagues.
