LMAO thats why the NBA is a failure, there are about 50 cities better suited for a franchise than frigging Virginia beach. Right in the middle of the black hole of empty arenas. Washington doesnt get shit for attendance, they had to move a team out of Charlotte because it was going broke (they put another one there but I imagine theyre going broke too).

They just love the east coast I guess. Whats the population of Va Beach? Less than 500K I would imagine. Frigging Long Beach has more people than that in it. So does Anaheim I think, where they were supposed to go but they must figure that now both LA teams are relevant selling a third So Cal team would be rough, so they got that right I guess.

To me a no brainer would be Kansas City. With the Heritage of hoops in Kansas it seems like a fit. But maybe they think OKC takes that area up. Somewhere in Kentucky also, Cinci maybe but that is still Ohio so who knows how Kent would take it. Although I guess college hoops is enough for the rednecks in Kentucky with both Louisville and Kentucky there.

Best decision might just be to contract them (and a half dozen others) and get the league down to a decent number with some talent spread around.

Virginia Beach has about 442,000 while Long Beach is 465,000.

St Louis should be first on the list though I admittedly don't know their arena situation.

Guys I lived in that area last year. Yes the area of VA Beach and Norfolk and all the surroundng areas there have a boat load of people due to the military bases down there. But there is no way they do this. The traffic would be unbearable. If you tried to make the 30 to 35 mile trip from Hampton Va to VA beach on a day there is a game it would take you about 2 hours at least. I Use to live in Newport News VA (home of Mike Vick) and it would take me 40 min to get to the beach but on the way back home at least an hour and a half to come back due to all the traffic.

Does Baltimore even have an arena that can seat 18,000+ for NBA??
