Everyone is harping about the poor officiating already from last nights game. I don't care about that... this is gambling... what edge do you have when placing a wager??? You might want to take a closer look...
I've noticed these refs were hesitant in making an offensive holding call. Was there even one called in last nights game? I don't believe there was. That would be a record if there wasn't any called...
My point is... we all know there's biased officiating in most sports... when biased officiating is out in the open typically underdogs win. Could this be the year in the preseason where most favorites cover???
Like these replacement refs are going to know anything about a spread during a game??? They didn't even have the balls to make an offensive holding call in the endzone that would of gave New Orleans a safety. As most people would only conclude that in the long run these calls equal out... I disagree. If the front office doesn't have a meeting before Fridays games... I would only conclude that most favorites will cover. Let's face it... in the NFL... the refs aren't there to call a fair game... They call biased games! These replacement refs are already nervous... and no one will give them a memo to let the underdog win a few.
Again, point being.... there are so many angles now in winning these preseason games than ever before. Vegas must play with a looser line now because it's hard to judge what these refs will call during a game. I think it's a huge advantage for steam plays.
