    Lin is not good...Knicks were not even talked about last year, until Lin came in and played some good games.

    Now every casual Knick fan thinks they need to resign this guy because he's the savior of the team.

    He meant the structure of the contract was ridiculous ($15 mil in 3rd year which would tie down the Knicks in2014 salary cap wise)

    Are you serious? All eyes were on New York the whole season! The opening game last season was NYK and BOS. First everyone talked about how great the Chandler/Amare/Carmello combo would be and then they wouldnt shut up about how they couldn't work together. Lin was just another addition to a NYK filled announcing season

    do you actually enjoy tofu? i mean yeah it's ok in some dishes when it's disguised & you don't know you've just eaten some

    but take away the surprise factor & it's probably the worst excuse for food i can think of

    He should take a beating! Melo is a selfish player who loves taking (and missing) shots and a point guard who spreads the ball around is not in best interest. Remember how the Knicks did with Lin while Melo was hurt?

    Melo will never win a ring in New York. He will have to piggy back on a team late in his career.

    im glad the knicks didnt resign lin. melo is right the contract is ridiculous. he played a month of good games, he was released by 2 teams. he isnt that good. his weaknesses will be exposed in houston

    knicks had the chance to sign lin earlier for probably around $23 million for four years but they let him "test the market". now they have no choice but to let him go because of the luxury tax.

    in a way it's funny as hell because it took a nearly perfect storm for them to lose lin.
