Circus Circus the most big time book in Vegas

Circus Circus took 2k on NCAAB futures no other book in vegas over 1k a pop though you can rebet adjusted line at some. Golden Nugget to win 10k so if you want a 50/1 shot the limit is 10% of Circus Circus

Heard the M resort might take a lot but leaving real soon and it is far i think.

The M is the same company as Venetian, Palazzo, Palms, Tropicana, Hard Rock, Cosmo.
You should be able to bet just as much at those books as you can at the M.

Never been in circus circus, but I imagine that instead of hookers walking around the lobby, it is all meth dealers? Sound about right?

Pretty ridiculous that any place in Las Vegas would refuse such a wager with the typical hold percentages they offer in their futures pool...

unless they know their lines might be way off and don't want 10 runners each betting 2k on a 50-1 shot that should be 20-1

Pre 1997, when i was allowed in U.S. i went to Vegas 12x.. and i have stayed at many diff hotels, and i swear, of all of them, Circus Circus was my fav. i loved that place it and miss it dearly.. most underrated hotel in Vegas. loved the spot, loved having Slots o Fun next door and loved their footlong jumbo hot dogs and fries for 1$ and they'd alwys give me free coupons to play BJ. loved the CircCirc buffet.. loved the casino, loved the sportsbook and loved their pools.. and most important, loved their 19$/night price and 12 free buffet coupons, and 4 hotel restaurant coupons when i checked in..and everytime i ran out, i'd just go to front desk and they'd give me 6 more buffet ones and free $$ vouchers.

I miss that place. by far, most underrated hotel in Vegas.

their breakfast buffet was terrible. same 10 foods repeated 100 times so they could call it the biggest buffet in the world.

and it was so damn cold and noisy in there, seemed like the workers were always dropping the loudest shit they could find just to make my hangover worse

Circus Circus re-did their book so its actually not that bad, its modern and up to date

I just don't like the atmosphere of the casino itself, too much smoke and riff raff.

Here is the actual 99 cent Slots O Fun hotdog. check out how big and thick it is.

You know how many times i'd be gambling at 330 am and i am starving to death and nothing's open.. and then i go next door and see this..

and then i add a 99 cent juicy fry. they stack em with tons of salt. $1.98 for this jumbo dog and best fries in the universe.. and of course a Large Coke with that....and at 330 am when you're dying of hunger, it goes down sooooooooooo good. can you say.. PARADISE.

    oh how i miss Vegas.

Circus Circus paid for most of the construction of the south strip area.

Yeah I think you are right. I staggered many times from the Stardust sportsbook through the McDonalds parking lot to the Ho. Don't forget the nickel coffee and the 99cent Margarita.

It is still true - it's called the SteakHouse. Most of the somelliers (wine guys is that how you spell it?) at the other restaurants around the strip all agree that Circus^2 SteakHouse is the best place on the strip and it's not crazy expensive like Joel Rubechon or Jean Georges.

I ordered a porterhouse, some kind of house bean soup, and a salad with this crazy good dressing that I have never had in my life. I think I spent 75 including a generous tip.

I went there last week and landed a quarter on the plate at the midway so my girl could carry home the big MyMelody stuffed doll from Sanrio. The Midway is always fun to try and catch a ring around the coke bottles.

Circus has good action on futures.

THE ONLY THING THAT SUX ABOUT THE SPORTSBOOK is that they told me that winning tickets are not cashable at other MGM properties, unlike Stations and Cal Neva/Leroy's/William Hill. I was down at the Aria 2 weeks ago, and they told me I had to come back to the Aria only to cash winning tickets .. WTF???

MGM books are shitty in that way - but it gives me an excuse to drive down to the strip and have some great food.

This may sound weird, but the only 2 Cantor properties I like are the M (because the seafood buffet is right across the book) and the Venetian (because the Chinese joint right next to the book allows me to order "off menu", meaning I can create my own dish mix -- and the chef and waitresses I know there always know how to make some good sh!t!)

And Yes, like the OP said, that area is not great so keep your hand on your wallet. The janky people walking in and out of the Riviera and McDonald's are thuggy at best.

My gf is flying in, and she wants to win that Mashimaro stuffed doll while I go get the hot dogs. I let you know if they still have the 99 cent dog and fries.

I got a free stay across the street at the Riviera for 4 nights in December (I am laughing along with everyone else). That place has mold growing behind the walls, and the front desk doesn't give a shit from what I heard in the last month. The good thing is that the no-limit players there are terrible, and there might be one decent restaurant in there but I have to check.

Circus Circus is NOT the biggest dump on the strip. People are comparing the steakhouse there to Cut at the Palazzo. Cut is nice, clean, sterile to some degree, and the food is great. The Steakhouse at CC is very cozy. You choose. I like both. On some level, I think Excalibur and Luxor are far worse than CC.

I admit when I see $1 roulette with 25 cent chips and empty $1 blackjack promotion tables, I'm like, "Oh oh.....", but hey, low risk entertainment for a lot of people. The craps table there is so shitty though: when you pitch it high and when it lands, you hear that, "PAKKKK" sound. The high rollers are playing $15 blackjack. That never makes sense on why play higher amounts there, unless your wife and kids are up at the midway games.
