    Points Don't Matter In These NBA Playoffs

    Meaning today if you think OKC will cover 5.5, then take them ML. If you think Spurs win today, take them minus the points. Only about 22% of the time during the playoffs this year, the points come into play.

    the points matter more in the play offs than they do the regular season. Regular Season SU winner 'cover' 82.4% of the time, SU winner in the play off only cover 77.6

    Not a bad idea in theory, but each series/each game can present a whole new dynamic

    Thunder/Spurs I expect to be very close games so points may be the value in some games

    Don't outsmart yourself take the points even if you like dogs to win outright. The smartest guy in the room syndrome can be deadly and costly in the end.

    Points matter in NBA more than any other sport. Did you just say spread comes into play 22% of time as if that is insignificant? Very significant

    NBA spread mattered in about 17/67 games this year (25%)

    NFL playoffs last 3 years 3/33 (10%)
