That Philly loss was brutal, tho. Loss at the buzzer. Went 3/3 from 3 in the quarter. Basically only 7 pts mid-way thru the quarter... then missed only a few shots the rest of the way. Was a solid pick, especially since they only scored 31 in the 2nd half... and only topped 80 pts but 1 time in last 4 games. And most quarters were in the teens.

This play is all about the beastiality. Her-a-dicka is human. Serena is not. Yes, Serena is lazy and fatter than ever.... but the fact of the matter is that none of these brittle white bitches can match the 220 lbs of linebacker power that Williams generates. (She's probably upwards of 230)
Anyways, despite the blip with Wozniacki (who she absolutely obliterated after she woke up; 6-3, 6-2 after 1st set), Williams hasn't allowed an opponent to get past winning 3 games in a set over the last 11 sets. In fact, in 7 out of 11 of those sets, her opponents have won 2 games or less. And, o/c, Her-a-dicka comes off 2 qualies and 4 matches... and now gets the Xmas gift of Serena.
So you mean to tell me Her-a-dicka is going to throw down a 6-4, 6-4 loss to Serena? Not a chance. There will be a 6-2 set in this match. If she manages 6-4, then so be it... but it'll still be under the total.

Plus, last 4 Petrova matches between Pet/Swill have been all 3-setters. Petrova at +925 and +6 might be the perfect storm today.... tho Swill might be too hot to lose right now. Plus the turnaround is a bit of an ask.

This was +104. Too bad. Anyways, a bit dangerous here. Swill had the quick turnaround from Madrid, then went from a night match to an early match vs. Petrova... my above prediction was pretty much dead on.
MedGar has only 6 aces in 9 of her last 10 matches. She's 5'6" and brittle. She's out of the range of the big WTA bruisers and can't be rescued by big serves. And she's no Henin. Anyways, this match is basically up to Serena and how she's feeling. If she's recovered a bit and has something in the tank, then bank it. A routine effort would see MedGar getting an absolute max 7 games here... a la 6-3, 6-4.
Stats aren't in line and on tape Swill looks gassed. Anyways, if this loses, it will be by a half or (in a long shot) by 1.5 games.
MedGar won't win a set. Swill has put up a 6-2 or better in her last 13 completed matches. If she puts up a 6-2 in this match, this will win.
