What were the Rocky betting lines when he won as Dog?
When Balboa beat Apollo Creed? +350?
When Balboa beat Drago? +900?

I think vs Creed he was a higher dog. Creed was pissed for that one, I would put it more like +550, I think the Russian was a little lower +750

In either Rocky I or II, I think the announcer calls him a "5/1 underdog"

50/1 in rocky 1. thats the only reference i can remember of gambling in any of them. remember in that one he was a club fighter throw in as a novelty act.

50/1 in the first fight but he did not win, then after that I don't think he would of been too big of an underdog in the next fights.

1 was one of the best movies of all time, didn’t like 2, 3 and 4 were watchable but that’s about it IMO

That one for sure! In the first match in Rocky I...those would have almost Off the Board. Like -2500/+2000, if they would even post lines.
That one could be discussed forever. The cinema guys talked about it really being impossible to write a script where the protagonist was the loser. Remember the scores being read in the final scene?

I know this post is ancient history, but your line was way off.
You said +550 and at 50 to 1 odds that makes Rocky +5000

A nice hypothetical from the first one:
What was the over/under on rounds?
Creed said he would drop him in 3.
Rocky said no one ever went the distance with Creed.
Like 5.5?

I doubt a +5000 underdog would be expected to last five rounds.
Even Creed didn't really think Rocky would last 3, he was basically saying he'd carry him until the 3rd round just to provide some entertainment.

In Rocky 1 I'd imagine the line on Rocky being somewhere around what the line was for Buster Douglas when he beat Mike Tyson. Creed was considered unbeatable and Rocky was a club fighter fighting no names like Spider Rico. So around +4200 sounds about right.
^^the line was 50-1. They announce it as he’s walking into the ring. I was saying the over under for rounds would probably be close to what it was for Tyson Douglas but I don’t see that anywhere, just tysons historical odds was the best i could do
