    Lin finally got his own pad

    He deserves it too.

    Knicks star Lin moves from couch to fancy downtown NYC pad


    NEW YORK -- New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin, who famously slept on a teammate's couch the night before his breakout performance, now has an apartment of his own.

    The 2-bedroom rental is on the 38th floor of the residences at the W New York Downtown Hotel and overlooks the Statue of Liberty.

    The Wall Street Journal reports that Lin signed the contract Wednesday.

    The apartment was listed at $13,000 a month. Matthew Moinian, the son of W's developer, says Lin got a better deal, but he declined to disclose the price.

    Lin was waiting to see if the Knicks would guarantee him a contract before he got his own apartment. In the meantime, he stayed with his brother and a teammate.
    Lin is now signed with the Knicks through the season.

    Well, he graduated and wanted to do what he loved, which is basketball. He went undrafted, then dallas picked him up, he then went to houston then goldenstate and then nyc. he was unsure if the knicks were going to keep him permanently so rather than get a place, he slept on his brothers couch. his brother will probably sleep on his couch from now on.

    Well that makes sense. It's just hard to understand not being from an Ivy league school. I have a cousin who went to school in Palo Alto and when I went to visit it was unbelievable how rich those people in that town were. And I live near Beverly Hills and Bel Air

    W Hotel huh?? Me and my dumbass friends were all there for a night for one of my friends' 21st birthday.....this place is classy and expensive as hell......let's just say by the morning they were begging us to GTFO......Puke in the elevator, rooms torn up, whole floor trashed, etc......Not one of our best moments

    I feel bad for his girlfriend who booked the hotels with her CC

    Lin is lucky to have Landry fields on the team. Fields being from Long beach and going to Stanford is probably more familiar with the Asian scenery than his other teammates. Lin would probably more comfortable hanging out with Fields, verses Stat, JR, or Melo, who are straight up gangsta's

    If he had this break out early in the season I can almost guarantee the chinese population vote would easily get him into the All star game. If he can continue this up to next season I can guarantee that the chinese population will vote him in as a starter. Yao didn't even have to play and they easily put his ass up as the starter... when he did play the votes he got killed it.

    This guy is going to be your all star starting point guard next year if he can remain a starter for the Knicks watch him get the majority of the vote. Chinese population + chinese in america >>>> Derrick Rose fans.
