We are all in the same boat and paddles are in short supply.

The markets have so far given the UK, France and the US a free pass that they would never give to smaller economies (like Ireland). This is moral hazard and will just make things worse in the longer run.

Say that to europeans who are working on 3-4 euro/hour or maybe less and see what are their reasons for their riots, also how would you react if someone will tell you that soon you'll won't have any freedom of speak and censorship will be main hobby of the authorities, I think that ex-communist countries don't want to go back to those days. Pretty much every major police dept/sheriff office requires a degree these days Haines. Most experienced investigators and tactical leaders have M.S. degrees as well.
