I had the privilege of meeting the face of SBR today. He let me snap a couple of pics while he was on the job:
Opie was telling me about his profession. He told me that to be a successful used car salesman, you have to be slick and sleazy. You sometimes have to convince people that something is true when it actually isn't. He didn't want to use the word manipulate, deceive and lie, but that's what I gathered is all this guy does. I was a little disappointed with our buddy Opie, but I guess he's good at lying and manipulating people and making them think that he's something he isn't. He was kind enough to introduce me to his cousin:
Opie's cousin was just like him, very smooth and conniving. He even tried to sell me a used car even though I told him many times that I already have a car and I'm not looking for another one. Opie's cousin also told me how his father and great grand father were used car salesmen. It looks like Opie has a lot of used car salesman blood in his genetics. It all adds up.
As we ended our talk, Opie apologized to me about all the lies he made up about me. He apologized for telling people that he had found my Facebook page, had copied and pasted pictures of Nokia phones, bands playing, monster trucks and whatever other lies he posted about me. He asked me to tell me about myself because Opie knows nothing about me whatsoever and felt bad that he had to lie, deceive and manufacture truths about me. I told him it's cool and it's all forgiven and even told him that my real name isn't Robert, it's...
Can't wait to visit you and your place of employment again Opie!
Hook me up with a deal next time boss!
