    Guys Who think NBA games are rigged

    Do you keep info of the games?

    have opening and closing lines on the games. Public betting %'s?

    It's hard to know if a game is rigged or not. Sometimes you just get unlucky.

    I think it does happen. It's already been proven. That being said, if you lose because someone hits a three pointer at the buzzer, it wasn't rigged. If the game was rigged, it would never come down to that.

    I typically look at the officiating, flow of the game, and how it effects the spread.

    I don't think Lebron is worried about covering 6 so Jo blow wins a few thousand. I do think refs could accepy bribes though.

    Sometimes games that are on pace to go way over go under and vice versa. Refs could definitely control the pace.

    i think the answer to biggies questions are an obvious no. those loonies can't win their 'sure bet', and it must be because of the last minute rig job. nice thread biggie. i would like to see the data on the fake show game from the rig enthusiasts.

    Every bet I lose looks rigged...I can pick apart something or several things throughout the course of a game, match, etc that looks rigged although I don't believe it truly is...

    Refs? Whole different story here...but even then I'm sure their performance is being constantly reviewed.

    So overall...no...don't think NBA is rigged.

    I think ppl believe its rigged more often than it really is. It would be naive to say its 100% fair, but its very unlikely that rig or fixing play any part in most games.

    So bottom line, nobody can ever say for certain if any game is rigged. You can't have that mindset when sportsbetting - instead just trust ur picks and even if u think it was fixed, nothing you can do about it so move on and hope your next game isnt or works in your favour =)

    Its not really about whether the games are rigged rather than about how Vegas sets and manipulates the lines. You're not going to be right 100% of the time and they're not either, but at the end of the day, even if something is 50-50 they still make profit.

    What should he do? Not shoot the ball at all? Why would he do that? You are supposed to play until the very end. Once in a while you will see guys hold the ball at the end of the game, but thats if they are at the other end of the court.

    If they have the basket within sights of course they are going to shoot.

    Major team sports with large betting markets up to millions are rigged since the millenium where internet betting start to be prominent. People won't believe until they touch insiders that cashes 90% of the time and made big money in their life.
    Less than 0.1% of the players are up 7 digits.

    A+ books earn hundreds of millions per year. Its not possible to be consistent if heavy betting on squares isn't punished. Bet amount is more important than no. of wagers, those sites feed u useless information. You need insiders of bet volume from the book to know where to hide your money.

    no doubt they are rigged,sometimes the players and sometimes the refs. In college I witnessed the fix with players they would shave the points not losing the game but not covering the big spreads. I won a large sum of money in the 70's the super star of a college faked an injury the fix was in before the game . It made the player 25,000 dollars the guy who was the middle man got 30,000 and the boss was said to have made over 1 million dollars. I was told later he made 3 million, over 2 million was the payment from Vegas. That team shaved at least 10 games that 3 years that player played . he was the center,and at the time they had the best undersized guard in the country. I have seen pro baseball fixed, horse racing for the whole season fixed , dogs every day.And I would place my right hand on the bible,and swear to tell the whole truth ,and nothing but the whole truth so help me.

    How do people explain Orlando Magic only score 56 points against celtics? Today they already scored over this by halftime. The real match is today. Its obvious from public mood the money wasn't heavy on Orlando today. More like 60:40.

    This game wasn't fixed guys. A NBA game has never been fixed.

    Orlando scored 60 in the first half and 25 in the second half. It was a coincidence.

    Boston was down 27 and won straight up. It happens. Actually i happens every other day in the NBA.

    The game was on pace to go way over and then Orlando scores 8 points in the final quarter and the under cashes by 1 point....Just a coincidence...

    A NBA ref has already been found guilty of fixing games and we see weird crazy endings like this every night yet people still don't think it goes on.

    I don't think every game is rigged, however, I don't know how some people can continue to watch these things happen and not question it.

    One team is dominating for three quarters and then they only score 8 points? This causes the under to hit by 1 point......ok. Just a coincidence like the Lakers ending last night and the Warriors ending the night before.

    Again, I can't prove any of these games are fixed, but you have to at least be suspicious.
