The tea party has been the ones that have been obstructing everything the President wants to get done with here. I can say that Obama hasn't been perfect but if we would have had a GOP person in office our unemployment would have been at 20 percent and underemployment would have been at 50 percent. One thing that I like about Obama has been he has a heart and he really cares about people and I am sure it is breaking his heart that people are not doing very well. To only give Democrats two little years to clean up a big fat mess that last President caused was not long enough. I think the GOP should be ashamed of themselves the way that they are acting here. Problem is regardless of your political affiliation, those in power have been influenced by Special Interests, standards and regulations in the financial sector(ie. banks) were soften or taken away and this is dating back to the early 80's. The honeymoon phase of prosperity in real estate and the stock market during the last 30 years were masked or was really a smoke and mirrors that hid the true problems in the US economy.
I could go on with other aspects flawed but essentially its the people that we have trusted to lead us or those that we have given power to appoint trusted and educated leaders in front running segments of our financial, education, business groups that have let down and crippled the american people and their economy and also had an adverse effect on others around the world.
