    just using round numbers if you bet 100 hands at 20 per hand that's 2000 points bet, normal edge of .5% or so would be 10 chips juice.
    if you hit an average of 5 bjs/100 an additional (30 x 5) 150 chips offsets the house edge 15 times over.

    The only way it's -EV is if you were looking forward to watching (or live betting) the game and now you're attention will be diverted from kickoff to first score.

    Standing on a hard 15 vs. 10 only gives up 3% more than hitting does. A player would have to average a mistake twice that bad to give up 6% (and probably 50% of all hands no one would ever make a mistake on unless they didn't know the rules of the game or something).

    This is a popular special but one we will not run very often. Depending on how fast a score comes this will be the last one before football starts again.

    That cannot be correct.

    Even with the less player friendly rules that now pervade (6/5 for Blackjacks, dealer hits soft 17 etc.) the house edge based on optimal play is still 'only' just above 2%.

    As ThaddeusB above suggests, and I fully agree, for the player to deviate from basic strategy enough to give the house a 10% profit would mean splitting 5s and hitting on 18 against the dealer's 6.
