    If you're a fan of Wayne Rooney than you really don't need to pay attention to Tim Tebow.

    He's just a polarizing figure who plays American football that is well-known for his religious faith.

    Now, on Sunday night, I was literally a few rows up from the game winning touchdown which was the highest rated NFL wildcard game since 1988. Exciting experience and all that.
    But I don't expect a Euro soccer guy to start following.

    Just like you probably, already, know not to expect American football fans to follow Wayne Rooney.

    One of the girls at my work is also one of the producers for a local sports talk show and says its so tough to get a Tebow interview because his standards are high in the sense that he doesn't want to talk to "bible bashers"

    He did a pro-choice advertisement that was ran for a super bowl a couple of years ago.

    He lives a "holier than thou lifestyle".
    Thanks God a little bit much.

    We also have to consider that we just seem to be living in an age where more and more people really hate religion, thus the polarization in the NFL fan base.

    But if you ask about other guys like Troy Polamalu and several other guys in the NFL-well, they just don't seem to be 'in your face' about it.

    Remember, the media needs a story, and a polarizing one is the one they will feed off of.

    That's why I'm telling you, Euro soccer dude, don't worry about it, its not important to you.
