hippos kill more ppl than any animal per year i believe

met a guy at a convention that was wearing prosthetic leg. he was a tour guide in the amazon river back then. They stand up when they are doing tour. It was two guys.

The boat started to shake and the two men fell into the river. Seconds later, one of then was chopped in half by the jaws of a hippo. THe man I met had his leg snapped off instantly. He said he was lucky to fall closer to the edge of the boat because the people helped him out right away.

Certainly in Africa they do, yes (if you exclude mosquitoes and tse-tse flies).

They have been known to bite people in half when they get spooked. Their primary warning is actually their breath which by all accounts is thoroughly rancid.

I didnt watch it but thats old news hippos kill more people than any animal that doesnt carry a disease. They just arent really predatory, they just sit and wait for dumb asses to float by them then capsize them and start chewing. If hiipos were proactively looking to kill people it would be quite interesting.

would never want to mess with a hippo. they don't need to chew. one snap of the jaws with those tusks and your getting cut in half, literally. you have a much better chance of surviving a shark or croc attack than living to survive another day against a hippo

he used his tail as a machete to meticulously slice the shit and ricochet it all around him as it was released from his dung launcher ... meanwhile blasting a huge fog horn fart to distract and pull in the audience.

I guess this is a technique to prevent the necessity of wiping or rhino self-licking... such as what cats do.
