UCLA has a shot at the BCS

Forget the big east...if UCLA beats Oregon they will forever go down as the worst bcs team of all time no matter how long it exists.

    What's the line...Oregon -21.5?

UCLA won't beat Oregon, but there will already be two joke teams in the BCS this year: Houston and Louisville.

If Michigan State beats Wisconsin in the Big ten championship game, that would make 3 joke teams because Michigan State isn't BCS caliber either.

College Football is severely down now that you mention Clemson. Clemson/Virginia Tech are frauds too.

Michigan beats O$U and Mich State losing to Wisky, likely puts Michigan in as a bcs at large.

Houston and Boise BOTH in a BCS Game? I thought only one team was allowed from a non-BCS conference?

Boise and tcu just played each other a couple years ago.

The rules state if a non bcs team is ranked in the top...8 I think?...then they're guaranteed a spot. No guarantees or restrictions for a second team.

    Edit: looked it up...top 12

that is a big if, but if that happens i am betting they pick someone else for the rose-bowl. it is usually the winner of the pac 12 vs the winner of the big 10. but they can choose others if they want.

the funny part is, if ucla loses this game, they become bowl ineligible and can't even play in the beef 'o' brady's bowl. playing in the pac 12 championship game was the worst thing that could have happened to them.

actually, ucla could still receive a waiver to play in a bowl, if stanford makes it into a bcs bowl.

Ucla needs to drink at beef o Brady's. Anyone remotely considering a football game, not a bowl a football game, has a piece a dog shit in their skull

Honestly a playoff would do the same thing as what people complaining about this year and that is possibly seeing Bama vs. LSU again, a playoff would have multiple teams playing teams theyve already played during the season, Id love a playoff, but thats the gripe this year at least, with Bama and LSU, who I personally dont wanna see play again this year.

the funny part is the people who argue that bammer shouldnt be able to get in seem to forget that sports with playoffs have non-division winners win the title all the time, see: 2010-11 green bay packers

Any playoff system will have teams playing against each other again. It happens in the NFL, but it's still exciting because it's an elimination game. Every play is magnified. I wouldn't mind a rematch if they both earned it on the field.

I'm not the only fan that wants championships decided on the field instead of inside a computer.
