    The name Paterno was no longer enough to keep him safe as he announced yesterday thathe was leaving the program after spending 17 years as an assistant under his father, Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno. Of course he isn’t leaving so much for anything he did or didn’t do in those 17 years as much as everything Jerry Sandusky did in those 17 years with the boys under him. I say good luck to Jay as if he is actually a good QB coach he will find a job—in fact my early guess is that he will wind up in Atlanta as—after QB matt Ryan was twice stymied on critical 4th and inches plays this past Sunday—they are looking for a guy who knows how to get away with a big sneak.

Do you think if Joe had found out the Sandusky tried something on Jay, when Jay was a wee lil 12 year old in the PSU locker rooms that Joe would have just "passed the info on" down the chain of command? Jay will pay for the sins of inaction by his father.
