    Conference Realignment question

With the recent movement towards super conferences in college sports, why has no one made an offer to Boise State to join one of the top tier conferences? the obvious choice would be pac-12 based on geography, but dan patrick just stated boise received no offer.

doesn't make sense, only logical conclusion i can come to is boise must A) not bring enough money to the table or B) the pac-12 is scared to bring boise in and have them be top team every year

    what do u gents think?

Boise will be left out if the conferences finally ever get to (4) 16 team conferences and tell the NCAA to shove it. And lets face facts Boise would not be going undefeated or with one loss if they played in one of the major conferences with the grinder of a schedule they usually bring. The PAC12 is also holding out hope that if/when the scenario plays out they will get Texas, TexasTech, OU, and OkieSt. The Big12 is living on borrowed time. Texas is just trying to find a way to keep all of its Longhorn Network money without sharing it with conference members and that shit won't fly in another conference.

Put Boise in the SEC and they're not even a .500 team.

Big East offered Boise today. For football only. I don't understand what the SEC is doing with inviting Tex AM and Mizzou. Why not wait for Oklahoma/Fla St./Texas/ or some other powerhouse team? Why water your conference down with those 2 scrubs. It makes no sense. Mizzou is not a southeastern state either. OU and Texas would both come to the SEC if invited.

Texas wouldn't go to the SEC because it would no longer be the big kid in the schoolyard who can bully everyone else.

Water down? You think the SEC is worried about watering down the conference? LOL!

First of all FSU or Clemson or VaTech or GaTech or Miami ain't leaving the cushy ACC where they have basically a 1/5 shot to win the conference each year to play in the SEC. They aren't that stupid. OU and Texas have expressed no interest in the SEC and quite frankly if they came then you might as well just crown the SEC champ as the national champ. I heard the SEC wasn't interested in WVA because of academics.
How bad their standards are must be baffling then cause the SEC is no bastion of academic excellence outside of Vandy.

Texas, TxTech, OU and OkieSt NEED to go to the PAC12. The ACC needs to pick up 2 more scrubs from what is remaining in the BigEast. The Big10 needs to tell the Golden Domers you get in now or college football is leaving you behind and add them with another school or just add IowaSt or Louisville or Cincy or BYU and then the ACC, SEC, Big10 and PAC12 need to tell the NCAA to go fukk themselves and run a 64 team football league on their own where the conference division winners play each other like now and the 4 conf champs will play a 2 game playoff and players get paid.

    why would anyone want them?

the travel is brutal with no hope of drawing a large market, or any market at all....if boise wins then they're reaping the benefit of being in the conference but not vice versa
